Watch APP Installation and Connection Instructions
As a Bluetooth product, most of the watch's functions, such as time display, call alerts, and message alerts, require connection to a dedicated APP. For Android phones, do not pair directly via the phone's Bluetooth settings. Instead, scan the provided QR code (not visible in OCR) to download and install the "Glory Fit" APP suitable for your mobile phone system, or find it in major application markets.
Device Connection
Before using the APP, ensure your mobile phone's Bluetooth and GPS positioning are turned on to grant the APP necessary positioning permissions. After a successful connection, a prompt "To pair with: Y6" will appear; select pairing.
Connection Steps:
- Open the APP and follow the on-screen prompts for initial setup.
- Click [Select Device] to search for the watch.
- Select the name of the searched Bluetooth device: "Y6".
- Connection succeeded.
Notes:
- For Android users, the APP must be granted permissions and allowed to run in the background to ensure optimal user experience.
- For iPhone users with iOS 13 or earlier, after connecting within the APP, you need to perform a second connection to "Y6" in the phone's Bluetooth settings to enable call and multimedia music functions.
Precautions
- Do not charge the device if there are water stains.
- This product is an electronic monitoring device, not a medical instrument. Measurement data is for reference only.
- It is not recommended to wear the watch during hot water baths or prolonged swimming.
- Always use the matching charging cable provided with the product.
FAQ
1. Problems such as the watch cannot be searched in the APP, or the watch cannot synchronize with the phone's time.
Answer:
- Ensure your phone's Bluetooth and GPS positioning are enabled before first use.
- The APP requires positioning permission. Check this in your phone's Settings > Applications.
- If the watch has already been paired via the phone's Bluetooth settings, cancel the pairing first, then search and connect within the APP.
- If the watch has been idle for a long time, its Bluetooth may enter a dormant state. Turn off Bluetooth on both the watch and phone, wait about 1 minute, then re-enable and try searching in the APP again.
- The watch must be connected to the APP for functions like steps, sleep tracking, and time synchronization to work correctly.
2. There is no alert function on the watch.
Answer: For first-time use:
- Android users: Follow the on-screen prompts or enable the information reminder function in the APP. Grant the APP notification permissions as instructed.
- Apple users: After connecting the watch to the APP, a pairing request will appear on your phone. Allow pairing and enable the notification switches for desired applications within the APP. Additionally, ensure "Notification Center" is enabled for the relevant apps in your phone's Settings > Notifications.
3. The reminder switch is turned on, but there are no reminders on the watch, or reminders are sporadic.
Answer: Verify that the phone's message notifications and corresponding notification permissions are enabled as per the instructions above. Ensure Bluetooth remains active and the APP and watch stay connected. If these conditions are met, but alerts are still inconsistent, the system's authorized APP alert function might be malfunctioning. Re-check the message push function settings.
4. Android phone's Bluetooth often disconnects or loses message alerts after a period of connection.
Answer: Android systems may periodically clean up background applications or high-power-consuming apps to maintain system performance. If the APP is not set to allow background running, it can be easily closed by the system, causing Bluetooth disconnections. The method for setting background running permissions varies by Android phone model. For example, on a Huawei nova 8 SE: Go to Settings > Battery > Power Consumption Ranking > APP > Application Launch Management > Manually manage to turn on background running.
5. The watch cannot measure, or the data is not accurate.
Answer:
- Before measurement, sit down and relax, keeping your arms level with your chest.
- Adjust the watch's tightness. The back of the watch should be close to the skin to prevent light leakage from the photoelectric sensor.
- Remain calm during measurement. Talking, coughing, or sneezing can affect measurement accuracy.
