Safety Information

- When the motherboard is not installed, place it on an antistatic mat or static shielding container.
- Before opening the computer, ensure there are no loose screws or metal components on the motherboard or anywhere else inside the computer case.
- Do not start the computer until the installation is complete. Failure to do so may result in permanent damage to components and injury to the user.
- If you need help during any installation step, please consult professional after-sales customer service staff.
- Before installing or removing any computer components, turn off the power and unplug the power cord from the socket.
- Keep this motherboard away from moisture.

- Before connecting the power supply to an electrical outlet, ensure your outlet provides the same voltage as indicated on the power supply.
- Place the power cord where it will not be stepped on by others and do not place anything on top of it.
- If liquid has penetrated into the computer, the motherboard is exposed to moisture, the motherboard does not work, or you cannot get it to work after following the instructions, the motherboard has been dropped and damaged, or the motherboard has obvious signs of damage, please send the motherboard to maintenance personnel for inspection.

LAN Port Status Table
The LAN port has indicator lights:

Installation and Setup
Notice
Please check the motherboard carefully. All pins marked with "1" or thick white lines are Pin 1.
CPU Installation
To correctly place the CPU in the motherboard, align the golden triangle indicator on the LGA1366 CPU with Pin 1 on the socket.
Memory Installation
- Pull the clips at both ends of the memory slot outwards.
- Match the protruding position of the memory stick with the slot to determine the installation direction.
- Align the memory stick with the slot and press it down firmly.
- The clips at both ends of the slot should pop up automatically, securing the memory.
Graphics Card Installation
- Use a screwdriver to remove the bezel and screws on the main unit's expansion slot cover.
- Lift the retention clip of the graphics card slot.
- Insert the graphics card into the appropriate PCI-E x16 slot.
- Ensure the card is fully seated; the retention clip should automatically return to its original position.
- Secure the graphics card to the chassis with screws.
- Install the power cord to the graphics card if required.
SATA Interface Connection
Connect SATA devices using SATA data cables to the SATA2.0 ports on the motherboard.
Front Panel Connectors (F_PANEL1)
Connect the front panel headers for power button, reset button, HDD LED, and power LED according to the pinout diagram.
Clear CMOS Jumper
Locate the Clear CMOS jumper on the motherboard to reset BIOS settings to default values.
Driver Installation
Ensure you have the correct drivers for your operating system (Windows 7/10).
Driver Listing:

Intel Chip Information Installation:
- Navigate to Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager.
- Right-click the hardware device needing a driver update.
- Select "Update Driver". Choose "Do not connect to the Internet" and then "Manual Installation".
- Browse to the directory containing the driver files and select "Next".
Audio Driver Installation:
Identify the audio chip model on the motherboard (refer to the manual) and select the corresponding driver.
- Installation (HD Audio): Run the installer (e.g., WDW-267 for XP, or from the VISTA-WIN7-R267 directory). Follow the on-screen prompts to "Next" and "Finish". The system will restart to complete the installation.
- Uninstallation (HD Audio): Go to Windows Desktop > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs. Select "Realtek High Definition Audio Driver" and click "Add/Remove".
External Graphics Card Driver Installation:
- Run the setup.exe file from the graphics card driver directory.
- Follow the prompts: "Next" > "Yes" > "Next" > "Next" > "Finished". The system will automatically detect and install the devices.
Network Card Driver Installation:
- Run the driver installer from the X58 LAN DRIVER/WIN7 XP directory.
- Click "Next" > "Install" > "Finished". Restart the computer. The system will automatically detect and install the devices.
BIOS Settings
The CMOS SETUP utility stores motherboard configuration data. To enter the BIOS setup:
- When the computer starts POST (Power On Self Test), press the Delete key.
- The motherboard warm boot key is F7.
Menu Navigation: A triangle indicator (Δ) on the left of a menu item signifies a submenu; selecting it will display the submenu.
Main Menu Functions:
- Main: System Overview (System Information) - Displays current time, hard disk specifications, and display type.
- Advanced: Advanced Settings - Configure special BIOS functions like virus warnings and boot disk priority.
- Chipset: Advanced Chipset Settings - Configure advanced chipset functions.
- Boot: Boot Settings - Configure boot device priority and other boot-related options.
- Security: Security Settings - Set BIOS passwords.
- Save: Save Settings - Save current BIOS configuration.
- Exit: Exit Options - Includes options to load optimized defaults, load fail-safe defaults, discard changes, or exit without saving.
