Note: In accordance with environmental regulations for the import and disposal of batteries in Colombia, batteries for the Magic Remote are not included in the TV package.

Installing Batteries

Please read this guide carefully before proceeding.

1. Press the top of the battery compartment cover, slide it back, and lift the cover as shown below.
2. To replace batteries, open the battery compartment cover, replace the alkaline batteries (1.5 V, AA), observing the and markings inside the compartment, and close the cover. Point the Magic Remote at the TV's remote control sensor.
3. To remove batteries, follow the installation steps in reverse order. Do not mix new and old batteries. Close the cover tightly.

Warning: If batteries of an incorrect type are installed, there is a risk of fire or explosion.

Open the battery compartment cover to view the markings.

• Power Button: Turns the TV on or off.
• Number Buttons: For direct channel input.
• Dash Button (-): Used for channel input.
• List Button (/LIST): Displays the channel list.
• Quick Access Button (QUICK ACCESS): Accesses frequently used features.
• Additional Actions Button (...): Provides access to additional functions.
• AD/SAP Button: For audio description and secondary audio programs.
• Volume Buttons (+/-): Adjusts the TV volume.
• Mute Button: Mutes the TV sound.
• Voice Recognition Button: Activates voice control.
• Home Button (HOME): Opens the home screen.
• Settings Button (Quick Settings): Accesses quick settings menu.
• Scroll Wheel (OK): Navigates menus and confirms selections.
• Directional Buttons (Up/Down/Left/Right): Navigates menus.
• Back Button (/BACK): Returns to the previous screen.
• Input Button (INPUT): Changes the TV input source.
• Streaming Buttons: Direct access to streaming services.
• Recents Button: Shows recently watched content.
• Color Buttons (Red, Green, Yellow, Blue): Used for specific functions.
• Playback Control Buttons: Play, pause, rewind, fast-forward.
• Movies Button: Accesses movie content.

Note: To use some buttons, press and hold them for 1 second or more.

Usage

1. Registering and Unregistering the Remote Control

Registering the Magic Remote

To use the Magic Remote, you must first pair it with your TV.

1. Insert batteries into the Magic Remote and turn on the TV.
2. Point the Magic Remote towards the TV and press the Scroll Wheel (OK) button.

If the Magic Remote fails to register with the TV, try again after turning the TV off and then on again.

Unregistering the Magic Remote

Simultaneously press the HOME and BACK buttons and hold them for 5 seconds to unregister the Magic Remote from the TV.

Press and hold the GUIDE / GUIDE button for at least 5 seconds to unregister and re-register the Magic Remote simultaneously.

2. Using the Remote Control

• Gently shake the Magic Remote from side to side or press the HOME, INPUT, or Settings buttons to make the pointer appear on the screen.
• (For some TV models, the pointer will appear when you scroll the Scroll Wheel (OK) button.)
• If the pointer is not used for a while or the Magic Remote is placed on a flat surface, the pointer will disappear from the TV screen.
• If the pointer movement is not smooth, you can reset it by moving it to the edge of the screen.
• The Magic Remote consumes battery power faster than a regular remote due to its additional functions.

* 2017 TVs can be used after a software update.
