Included accessories may vary by country. Typically, this includes:

Installing Batteries
Follow these steps to install batteries:
- Locate the battery cover on the remote. Press the top of the cover, slide it backward, and lift it open.
- Replace the old batteries with two new 1.5 V AA alkaline batteries. Ensure the positive (+) and negative (-) ends of the batteries match the polarity indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery cover securely.
Important:
- Always point the remote control towards the remote control sensor on the TV.
- Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
- Risk of fire or explosion if the battery is replaced with an incorrect type.
- To remove batteries, reverse the installation steps.

Remote Description
The layout of your Magic Remote may differ slightly from the illustration. Some buttons and services may not be available depending on your model or region.

Using the Magic Remote
Pairing (Registering) the Magic Remote
To use the Magic Remote, you must first pair it with your TV:
- Insert batteries into the Magic Remote and turn on the TV.
- Point the Magic Remote at your TV and press the ✔️ (Wheel / OK) button.
If pairing fails, turn the TV off and on again, then try pairing once more.
Unpairing (Deregistering) the Magic Remote
To unpair the Magic Remote from your TV, press and hold the ? (HOME) and ↩️ (BACK) buttons simultaneously for five seconds.
Holding the [Screen Remote] button can cancel and re-register the Magic Remote at once.
Pointer Operation
- To make the pointer appear on the screen, slightly shake the Magic Remote left and right, or press the ? (HOME), ⎗ (INPUT), or ⚙️ (Q. Settings) buttons. (On some TV models, the pointer appears when you turn the ✔️ (Wheel / OK) button.)
- The pointer will disappear if it is not used for a certain period or if the Magic Remote is placed on a flat surface.
- If the pointer is not responding smoothly, reset it by moving it to the edge of the screen.
- Due to its advanced features, the Magic Remote consumes batteries faster than a standard remote.
Supported LG TVs
The Magic Remote is compatible with the following LG TV models:
- 2017 TVs: W7/G7/E7/C7/B7/SJ9*/SJ8*/SJ7*/UJ9*/UJ8*/UJ7* and UJ6*/LJ6*/LJ5* (Compatibility may vary by country; verify Bluetooth support for your TV.)
- 2018 TVs: W8/G8/E8/C8/B8/A8/SK9*/SK8*/SK7*/UK9*/UK8*/UK7* and UK6*/LK6*/LK5* (Compatibility may vary by country; verify Bluetooth support for your TV.)
Note: 2017 TVs may require a software update for compatibility. Not all listed models are supported in all countries, and model availability is subject to change without prior notice.
