Installing Batteries

Follow these steps to install batteries:

  1. Locate the battery cover on the remote. Press the top of the cover, slide it backward, and lift it open.
  2. Replace the old batteries with two new 1.5 V AA alkaline batteries. Ensure the positive (+) and negative (-) ends of the batteries match the polarity indicated inside the compartment.
  3. Close the battery cover securely.

Remote Description

The layout of your Magic Remote may differ slightly from the illustration. Some buttons and services may not be available depending on your model or region.

Button Description
⏻ (POWER) Turns the TV on or off.
Number buttons For direct input of numbers.
- (DASH) Used for inputting numbers or specific functions.
⬆️⬇️⬅️➡️ (Wheel Navigation) Navigate menus and select options.
✔️ (Wheel / OK) Confirms selection or scrolls.
↩️ (BACK) Returns to the previous screen or menu.
[Screen Remote] Activates the on-screen pointer mode.
? (MUTE) Mutes or unmutes the TV audio.
? (Voice Recognition) Activates voice command input. Press and hold for more than 3 seconds to use.
? (HOME) Opens the TV's home screen or main menu.
⎗ (INPUT) Selects the input source for the TV.
▶️ (Streaming Service Buttons) Direct access to streaming services like Netflix or Amazon Prime Video.
⚙️ (Q. Settings) Opens the Quick Settings menu.
???? (Colored Buttons) Perform specific functions in certain applications or menus.
[Control Buttons] General control buttons for TV functions.
[TELETEXT Buttons] For accessing Teletext services.

Using the Magic Remote

Pairing (Registering) the Magic Remote

To use the Magic Remote, you must first pair it with your TV:

  1. Insert batteries into the Magic Remote and turn on the TV.
  2. Point the Magic Remote at your TV and press the ✔️ (Wheel / OK) button.

If pairing fails, turn the TV off and on again, then try pairing once more.

Unpairing (Deregistering) the Magic Remote

To unpair the Magic Remote from your TV, press and hold the ? (HOME) and ↩️ (BACK) buttons simultaneously for five seconds.

Holding the [Screen Remote] button can cancel and re-register the Magic Remote at once.
