3. Hardware Connection
- Power off your Modem.
- Connect the WAN port on the netis Router to the Modem's LAN port with an Ethernet cable.
- Connect your computer to one of the LAN ports on the netis Router with an Ethernet cable.
- Power on your Modem.
- Plug the provided Power Adapter into the PWR jack of the netis Router and the other end into a standard electrical socket. Wait for one minute.
4. Configure the Router via Web Management Page
- Connect your PC to one of the LAN ports on the router with an Ethernet cable, or connect your WiFi device to the router's default SSID. The default SSIDs are 'Netis-XXXXXX' for 2.4G and 'Netis-XXXXXX-5G' for 5G, where 'XXXXXX' represents the last 6 digits of the LAN MAC address.
- Open your browser and navigate to http://netis.cc or enter `192.168.1.1` in the address bar to access the router's web management page.
- Follow the setup wizard to begin configuration. You can select your preferred language from the top corner; English is the default.
- The router will attempt to detect your Internet access mode automatically. If Dynamic IP (DHCP) is selected, the router will obtain IP parameters from your ISP. For PPPoE, enter the User Name and Password provided by your ISP. If the mode is not detected, select it manually. For Static IP, enter the IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, and DNS Servers provided by your ISP.
- Configure your Wi-Fi name and password as desired, then click "Save".
- Wi-Fi setup is now complete, and you can access the internet.
5. Easy Mesh
Method 1: Press the WPS button on each netis mesh router simultaneously to automatically configure the mesh connection.
Method 2: Connect your netis mesh routers using an Ethernet cable to automatically configure the mesh.
