Chapter 1: Safety Instructions
1. Operation
- Use the product in the recommended operating environment, away from water or source of heat.
- Do not place the product in a tilted position or on an unstable trolley, stand, or table.

Chapter 3: Function Introduction
3.1 I/O functions Introduction
Front View:
The front of the camera features:
- 1. Tally Lamp: Displays the tally light status of the camera.
- 2. Camera lens: A 30x HD camera lens.
- 3. Power LED indicator: Displays the status of the camera.
- 4. Standby LED indicator: Displays the status of the camera.
Back View:
The back of the camera includes the following ports and controls:
- 1. RS-232 input: RS-232 input port, supports serial connection for up to 7 cameras.
- 2. RS-232 output: RS-232 output port, supports serial connection for up to 7 cameras.
- 3. Lock hole: For a safety lock.
- 4. IR SELECT: Controls the remote-control ID setting, corresponding to the Camera Select on the remote.
- 5. DC 12 V power Port: DC power supply connection port.
- 6. Ethernet port: Network cable port, supports PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at) via routers or hubs.
- 7. Audio input: Supports Line In/Mic In.
- 8. OUTPUT Switch: Adjusts resolution setting (default is 1080p/59.94).
- 9. RS-422 Port: RS-422 connection port, supports serial connection for up to 7 cameras.
- 10. HDMI output: HDMI output port, supports audio output.
- 11. 3G-SDI output: 3G-SDI output port, supports audio output (48 KHz only, up to 1080p 59.94/50).
- 12. USB 3.0 port: Connects to a computer for camera image output via video software (supports up to H.264 2160 29.97p/MJPEG 1080 29.97p).

Chapter 4: Instruction for installation
4.1 Preparation before installation
Installation requires special skills. Follow these steps carefully, ensure steady installation, and prioritize safety.
- 4.1.1 Ensure the safety of the installation environment: Do not install on unstable ceilings or in places where the device could fall.
- 4.1.2 Check accessories: Ensure all items in the box are present. Contact the supplier for any shortages.
- 4.1.3 Choose a proper place:
- 4.1.3.1 Confirm the object position: Determine the desired capture area.
- 4.1.3.2 Confirm distance from light sources: Ensure proper placement relative to light sources.
4.2 Instruction for installation
4.2.1 Installing on a desk:
Precautions for installation:
- Install on a flat desk.
- Do not grab the camera head by hand.
- Do not rotate the camera head manually, as this can cause breakdown.
Installation steps:
- Adjust DIP switch settings first (refer to Chapter 7).
- Place the camera on a flat desk for normal vertical and horizontal operation.
4.2.2 Installing on a ceiling:
Preparation for installation:
Required parts and equipment include:
- Accessories in the box (metal plates A, B, M3 screws).
- Screws for ceiling mounted hanger (x4).
- Drilling machine, screwdriver, ladder.

4.2.2.5 Precautions for installation:
- Confirm the machine's orientation relative to the object.
- Set the machine at least 1.5 meters away from the object for optimal distance based on lens magnification. [Diagram illustrating 1.5m distance].
- The machine (with plates) weighs approximately 2.5 kg. Use a UL-approved hanger for ceiling installation.
- Regularly check if the camera is installed securely.
Installation steps (Ceiling):
- Adjust resolution via DIP switch (refer to Chapter 7).
- Fix Metal Plate A onto the machine base with 4 M3 silver screws.
- Lock Metal Plate B onto the ceiling mounted hanger.
- CAUTION: Use a UL-approved hanger.
- Ensure the hole for connecting wires is reserved.
- Combine Metal Plate A and Metal Plate B:
- Push Metal Plate A up to the ceiling, then to the right to latch Metal Plate B.
- Secure with 2 M3 silver screws and 1 M3 black screw. [Diagram showing plates being joined].
How to remove:
- Remove connecting wires.
- Uninstall the camera with the ceiling mount; loosen the three screws fixing the metal plates A and B, then push left to remove the machine.
- Remove screws on the hanger and the machine.

Chapter 6: Network Function Settings Description
6.1 Connecting Camera to Network
6.1.1 Connecting to Internet:
Two common methods:

- Direct connection: Change computer's IP address to match the camera's network segment (e.g., camera IP 192.168.100.100, computer IP 192.168.100.101). [Diagram showing direct network cable connection].
6.1.2 Using the Browser to View the Images:
Open a browser, enter the camera's IP address (e.g., http://192.168.100.100). Log in with default credentials (Username: admin, Password: 9999) and change the password on first login.
6.1.3 Using RTSP Player to View the Images:
For CV630-ND3/ND3W, turn off NDI|HX. RTSP connection formats are provided (e.g., rtsp://camera IP:8554/hevc). VLC example included.
6.1.4 Using NDI Studio Monitor to View the Images:
Applicable to VC-630-ND3/ND3W when NDI|HX is on. Visit NewTek website for details. Download NDI 4 Tool from provided link.
6.2 Web Page Function Description
6.2.1 Connecting to Internet:
Describes the web interface elements: Live View, Audio, Stream, System, Maintenance, About, HEVC Advance. Lists items like Camera ID/location, Preview window, Preset setting, Pan/Tilt setting, AF/MF, Zoom ratio, Camera Setting, Language, Power button, Logout.
6.2.1.1 Camera Setting:

- Exposure: Mode (Auto, Shutter Pri, Iris Pri, Manual), Gain Level, WDR, Exposure Comp. Level, Iris Level, Shutter Speed.

For CV630-ND3/ND3W, NDI|HX must be off. Supports RTSP, MPEG-TS, RTMP/RTMPS, SRT. Details stream types, codecs, resolutions, bit rates, frame rates, and connection formats.
6.2.3 Stream - NDI:
For CV630-ND3/ND3W only, when NDI|HX is set to HX2/HX3. Settings for Camera ID/Location, Group Name, NDI|HX (HX2, HX3, Off). Details on multicast and discovery servers.
6.2.4 System – Output:
Settings for Resolution, Output Source (HDMI+NDI, HDMI+Streaming, HDMI+UVC), HDMI Format, Color Space, UVC, Overlay (date/time, custom content).
6.2.5 System – Output (Duplicate? Seems to be a continuation of output settings):
Details on Camera ID/Location modification, and Apply/Cancel.
6.2.6 System – Network:
Settings for DHCP, HTTP Port, HTTPS Port, Tracking Data Output (Serial/IP output for PTZ position). [Diagram of network settings].

7.1 DIP Switch
7.1.1 OUTPUT Switch:
Table mapping DIP switch ID to Resolution and Frame Rate.
7.2 IR Select:
Ensures IR SELECT and Camera Select on the remote control are consistent.
Chapter 8: Troubleshooting
A table listing common problems and their solutions:
- Boot without power signal: Check power cord, PoE supply, and hubs.
- No image output: Check power supply, PoE, output signals, resolution compatibility, and cables. Use 1080p/720p 60/50 fps signals.
- Image severely delayed: Check RS-232 connection and baud rate.
- RS-232 cannot be controlled: Confirm RS-232 connection and baud rate.
- No image for 3G-SDI: Confirm screen menu/DIP switch settings; 3G-SDI supports up to 1080p 59.94/50.
- Internet usage: Refer to Chapter 6.
- ONVIF software cannot locate machine: Use English alphabets/numbers for location in web page settings.
- Tally lamp not working: Ensure Tally Lamp is enabled in System settings or web page.
- Camera does not save parameters after reboot: Ensure Initial Position is set to Last MEM.
