3.1 I/O Functions Introduction

15 3G-SDI output 3G-SDI output with audio support (48 KHz audio, up to 1080p 59.94/50).

3.3 Tally Indicator Light Function Description

The tally indicator light function can be enabled via RS-232 command. The setting method is as follows:

Chapter 4: Instruction for Installation

4.1 Preparation before Installation

Installation requires special skills. Follow these steps carefully for a safe and steady installation:

4.2.1 Installing on a Desk

Precautions:

4.2.1.2 Installation Steps

  1. Adjust DIP switches first (refer to Chapter 7 DIP Switch Setting).
  2. Place the camera on a flat desk to ensure normal vertical and horizontal operation.

4.2.2 Installing on a Ceiling

4.2.2.1 Required Parts and Equipment

4.2.2.4 Size Diagram
1. Bottom of machine

The camera can be mounted on a 1/4", -20 UNC PTZ tripod deck using the lock holes on the bottom.

2. Metal Plate size diagram

Diagrams show dimensions for Metal Plate B (ceiling side) and its locking screws/bolts, and Metal Plate A (machine side) and its locking screws.

4.2.2.5 Precautions for installation
4.2.2.6 Installation Steps
  1. Adjust resolution via DIP switch first.
  2. Fix Metal Plate A onto the machine base with 4 M3 silver screws.
  3. Lock Metal Plate B onto the ceiling mounted hanger (ensure UL approval and reserve space for wires).
  4. Combine Metal Plate A and Metal Plate B by pushing Plate A upwards and to the right to latch Plate B, then secure with 2 M3 silver screws and 1 M3 black screw.
4.2.2.7 How to remove
  1. Remove connecting wires.
  2. Loosen the three screws fixing Metal Plates A and B, push to the left to remove the machine.
  3. Remove screws from the hanger and the machine.

Chapter 4.3: Connecting Devices

4.3.1 Connecting to PC (video conference)

Connect the camera to a PC using HDMI or SDI cable. SDI supports audio output up to 1080p 59.94/50.

4.3.2 Connecting to an HDTV/computer monitor (HDMI)

Connect the camera to an HDTV or computer monitor using an HDMI cable.

4.3.3 Connecting to Internet

For web page connection settings, refer to Chapter 6: Network Function Settings Description.

Connection can be made via a switch/router or directly via a network cable. If direct connection is used, ensure the computer's IP address is on the same network segment as the camera (e.g., camera IP: 192.168.100.100, computer IP: 192.168.100.101).

4.3.4 Connecting AUDIO IN

Set the [Audio In] in the OSD to reflect the input device (MIC or audio mixer).

4.3.5 Connecting RS-232

Up to 7 Marshall cameras can be connected serially using RS-232 IN/OUT ports. Diagrams show RS-232 pin definitions and connection instructions.

4.3.6 Connecting RS-422

Up to 7 Marshall cameras can be connected serially using RS-422. Note: Do not use RS-232 connection when RS-422 is in use. Diagrams show RS-422 pin definitions and connection instructions for Marshall and SONY controllers.

Chapter 5: Remote Control and Setting Menu

5.1 Functions of remote control

The remote control offers various functions listed alphabetically:

Note on Motionless Preset: When enabled, the screen freezes when Preset is executed and releases after completion.

Chapter 6: Network Function Settings Description

6.1 Connecting Camera to Network

6.1.1 Connecting to Internet

Two common connection methods:

  1. Via switch or router: Connect the camera to a switch or router using a network cable, and connect the switch/router to a computer.
  2. Direct connection: Connect the camera directly to a computer using a network cable. Ensure the computer's IP address is on the same network segment as the camera (e.g., if camera IP is 192.168.100.100, set computer IP to 192.168.100.101).

6.1.2 Using the Browser

Open a web browser and enter the camera's IP address (default: http://192.168.100.100). Enter the administrator username (default: admin) and password (default: 9999). Refer to section 6.2.3 for changing default passwords.

6.2 Web Page Function Description

6.2.1 Login Screen

The login screen requires Username, Password, and Language selection. Options to remember password and login are available.

6.2.2 Viewing In Real Time

The Live View interface allows control of Pan/Tilt, Zoom, Preset settings, and Power.

Chapter 8: Troubleshooting

This chapter describes common problems and their solutions. Contact your distributor or service center if problems persist.

2. For PoE connection, ensure power supply supports POE+ (IEEE 802.3at).
2 No image output from CV630-NDI 1. Check power supply or PoE functions.

3. Verify camera resolution compatibility with monitor; check 4K support if using 4K output.
4. Replace cables and ensure they are not faulty.
5. Use 1080p or 720p 60/50 fps signals instead of 25/30 fps.
3 CV630-NDI image is severely delayed Use 1080p or 720p 60/50 fps signals instead of 25/30 fps.
4 RS-232 cannot be controlled 1. Confirm RS-232 In/Out connection.
2. Ensure Baud rate setting matches control equipment.
