Assembly Steps

1. Step 1: Attach brackets using 6x 118331 screws. Ensure correct orientation as shown.
2. Step 2: Assemble the base panels using screws.
3. Step 3: Connect side panels and base.
4. Step 4: Secure the structure using 6x 102509 connectors.
5. Step 5: Attach top panels using 12x 118331 screws.
6. Step 6: Assemble the main drawer unit frame.
7. Step 7: Insert drawer runners and secure with 12x 102509 connectors.
8. Step 8: Attach the base with wheels using 4x 10061614 connectors.
9. Step 9: Assemble drawer boxes (3x for one type, 2x for another).
10. Step 10: Attach side panels to the base shelf.
11. Step 11: Secure the structure with 4x 103114 connectors.
12. Step 12: Insert back panel.
13. Step 13: Insert bottom shelf.
14. Step 14: Attach the back panel using 2x 110519 screws.
15. Step 15: Assemble drawer runners (2x).
16. Step 16: Attach drawer front supports using 2x 118331 screws.
17. Step 17: Assemble drawer sides.
18. Step 18: Secure drawer sides with 4x 103114 connectors.
19. Step 19: Insert back panel into drawer unit.
20. Step 20: Insert drawer bottom panel.
21. Step 21: Attach drawer front using 2x 110519 screws.
22. Step 22: Combine drawer unit with desk top (e.g., LAGKAPTEN, MÅLSKYTT, ANFALLARE). Use 4x 100001 screws.
23. Step 23: Insert assembled drawers into the unit. Secure with 2x 105021 screws.

Important Notes:

• Do not stack drawer units vertically. [!]
• Ensure assembly is done on a soft surface to prevent scratches. [i]
• Refer to specific diagrams for correct part orientation and screw placement.
• The ALEX drawer unit can be combined with various IKEA tabletops like LAGKAPTEN, MÅLSKYTT, and ANFALLARE.
• For drawer unit with wheels, ensure wheels are securely attached.
