Assembly Steps
Step 1: Determine Mounting Position
Measure and mark the desired position for the roller blind on the wall or ceiling. Ensure a minimum distance of 5 cm (1 15/16") from the top edge of the window frame for the bracket. For ceiling mounting, ensure a minimum distance of 5 mm (3/16") from the ceiling.
Step 2: Attach Brackets
Mark the screw holes for the brackets based on the width of the roller blind. The distance between the brackets should be slightly less than the width of the blind. Drill holes and insert appropriate wall plugs if necessary. Secure the brackets to the wall or ceiling using suitable screws.
Step 3: Prepare the Roller Tube
Attach the cord mechanism to one end of the roller tube. Ensure it clicks into place.
Step 4: Mount the Roller Blind
Insert the roller tube into the brackets. Ensure the cord mechanism is on the side you prefer for operation. The blind should click securely into the brackets.
Step 5: Attach the Bottom Rail
Slide the bottom rail into the hem at the bottom of the roller blind fabric.
Step 6: Cut Fabric (If Necessary)
If the roller blind is too long, you may need to cut the fabric. Measure the desired length and mark a cutting line. Use scissors to carefully cut the fabric along the marked line. Ensure the cut is straight.
Step 7: Trim the Bottom Rail (If Necessary)
If you have cut the fabric, you may also need to cut the bottom rail to match the new width. Use a saw to cut the bottom rail to the correct length.
Step 8: Re-attach Bottom Rail
Slide the trimmed bottom rail into the hem of the shortened fabric.
Step 9: Adjust Cord Length
Adjust the length of the operating cord as needed. Ensure it is at a safe height, especially if children are present.
Step 10: Test Operation
Pull the cord to lower and raise the blind. Ensure it operates smoothly. Check that the stop mechanism functions correctly.
Step 11: Final Check
Ensure all parts are securely attached and the blind is functioning correctly.
Care and Maintenance
Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
