BOT-R6X Wireless Gas Boiler Thermostat
Overview
The BOT-R6X is an intelligent digital thermostat designed for floor heating systems. It compares ambient temperature with the set temperature to control the electric valve of the floor heating system, thereby adjusting the ambient temperature for comfort and energy saving.
Wiring Diagram
The wiring diagram illustrates connections for Zero, Fire, Pump, K1, and K2 terminals. K1 and K2 are passive linkages for wall-hung furnaces. 'Normally Open' indicates the motorized valve remains open, and 'Normal Close' indicates it remains closed. Note: Circuits involving strong electricity require professional installation.
Application
Intelligent digital thermostat is suitable for floor heating systems. It compares ambient temperature and set temperature to control the working state of the electric valve of the floor heating system, adjusting the ambient temperature for comfort and energy saving.
Operating Instructions
- ON/OFF Key: Press the ON/OFF key [Power Button] to turn the device on or off. Press again to shut down and close all valves.
- M Mode Switch Key: In the power-on state, press 'M' [Mode Button] to switch between manual and automatic modes. The LCD will indicate the current mode.
- A Regulation Key: In the power-on state, press 'A' [Adjust Button] to adjust the set temperature and other parameters.
- Clock Adjustment: In the power-on state, press and hold the 'M' [Mode Button] key for 5 seconds. Press 'A' [Adjust Button] when the clock icon flashes to adjust the time and week. Press 'M' [Mode Button] to switch between time and week adjustment. Press 'A' [Adjust Button] to save and exit.
- Lock Key Function: In the boot state, press and hold 'A' [Adjust Button] for 5 seconds to enter the lock key state. A lock icon [Lock Icon] will appear on the right side of the display, indicating the lock is successful.
Low Temperature Protection Function
When advanced option 3 is set to 'ON', the thermostat enters a shutdown state. If the indoor temperature drops below 5 degrees Celsius, the thermostat automatically turns on heating. When the indoor temperature rises to 5 degrees Celsius, the thermostat automatically turns off heating.

Code Matching Process
Launch Panel & Receiving Panel:
The process involves pairing the launch panel (thermostat) with the receiving panel. The receiving panel has a power indicator lamp [Power Indicator], a code matching indicator [Code Match Indicator], and a code matching key [Code Match Key]. The launch panel requires 3 AA batteries.
- Power on the receiving panel; the power indicator should be continuously lit. Press and hold the code matching button [Code Match Key] on the receiving panel until the code matching indicator [Code Match Indicator] flashes.
- Install 3 AA batteries into the launch panel. Press and hold any key on the launch panel after booting. When the code matching indicator [Code Match Indicator] on the receiving panel turns on continuously, the code matching is successful.
Programming Mode Operation
To enter programming mode, press and hold the 'M' [Mode Button] and [Up Arrow] keys simultaneously for 5 seconds while the device is on. Press 'M' [Mode Button] to switch between parameters. In the first period, adjust the hour, then the minute, and then the temperature. Subsequent periods follow the same adjustment method. Press [Up Arrow] to exit.

Installation Method
- Install an expansion screw sleeve with a spacing of 59mm on the wall. (Diagram shows a wall with a screw sleeve installed).
- Use a screwdriver to separate the upper and lower covers. Following the wire direction, pass the wire through the back cover to the wiring duct, leaving about 20cm long as per the actual situation. (Diagram shows separating covers and routing wires).
- Fix the bottom shell to the wall, and finally fix the wire. Cover the front shell onto the bottom shell. (Diagram shows mounting the base and attaching the front cover).
Inspection Steps
Install the intelligent touch screen thermostat in a location that is easily visible and accessible for the user to view the screen and adjust the set point. The thermostat should be placed in a location that represents the overall ambient temperature of the room. Avoid installing near heat or cold sources, such as vents, heaters, outdoors, or in places where direct sunlight hits the device.
Common Faults Handling
Phenomena | Solutions |
---|---|
Don't start up | 1. Check whether the battery is installed backwards. 2. Inspect whether the boot key is valid. |
Display is normal, but there is no output | 1. Check whether the boundary between the main control board and the power board is damaged. 2. Check whether the output is connected to the wrong wire. |
