Mounting Procedure
The following steps detail the mounting process for the VARISTAR CP Fan Kit:
- Step 1: Place the top panel of the enclosure. Ensure correct orientation as indicated by the upward arrow. Secure the panel using the provided screws. A detailed view shows connecting a cable.
- Step 2: Insert mounting posts into the designated holes on the enclosure frame. Position the fan unit within the enclosure, aligning it with the mounting points. Lower the fan unit into place, as indicated by the downward arrow.
- Step 3: This step shows a close-up of the fan unit with six fans mounted on a circuit board. It includes instructions to disconnect the fan plug from the circuit board if replacement is needed.
- Step 4: Mount the fan kit onto the enclosure. Connect the fan plugs to the circuit board. A diagram shows the fan unit, circuit board, and connecting cables, with specific components labeled 1, 2, and 3. The torque for component 3 is specified as 1 Nm.
- Step 5: Place the top panel onto the enclosure, aligning it with the mounting posts. Secure the panel with screws, applying a torque of 73 Nm. Arrows indicate the direction of placement and fastening.
- Step 6: Finalize the installation by securing the top panel. Ensure all connections are made and the panel is firmly attached. The diagram shows the top panel being lowered into place, with an inset showing a cable connection being secured with a 'CLICK' sound. The torque for these screws is 5 Nm.
