Congratulations on your purchase of this high-quality product. This user manual is an integral part of the product and contains important safety, usage, and disposal information. Please read all instructions carefully before first use.
Use as intended
This LED string light (hereinafter referred to as "the product") is intended for decorative lighting indoors and outdoors. It is suitable for private use but not for industrial or commercial purposes, nor for use in tropical climates. Any other use is considered improper. Warranty claims due to improper use or unauthorized modifications are excluded. Such use is at your own risk.
The product is controlled and configured via the Lidl Home app.

Safety Instructions
Before starting to use the product, read all safety and operating instructions! When passing the product on to another person, include the complete documentation!
DANGER! RISK OF ACCIDENT AND LOSS OF LIFE FOR INFANTS AND SMALL CHILDREN!
- Do not leave children unsupervised near packaging materials. Packaging materials pose a choking hazard. Children may not be able to assess the associated risks. Always keep the product out of the reach of children.
- This product may be used by children aged 8 years and above, and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge, provided they are supervised or have been instructed on the safe use of the product and understand the risks involved.
- Children must not play with the product.
- Cleaning and maintenance work must not be carried out by unsupervised children.

- Children may swallow small parts (e.g., screws). Keep children away from the work area during assembly.

- Before use, ensure that the available mains voltage corresponds to the product's required operating voltage (220-240 V~).
CAUTION! RISK OF TRIPPING!
- Ensure the power cable is laid in such a way that no one can run over it or trip over it.
- Always check the product and power adapter for damage before connecting the product to the mains.
- Do not use the product if it appears to be damaged in any way.
- This product contains no user-serviceable parts.
- Use the product only with the supplied DC power adapter (model no. XY12LF-240050VH-ET). The product must not be used with other plug-in mains adapters. Otherwise, all warranty claims will be void.
- Never open electrical parts or insert any objects into them.
- Protect all cables from sharp edges, mechanical loads, and hot surfaces.
- Do not mount using sharp fasteners or nails.
- Never touch the product's mains plug or the product itself with wet hands.
- The product must not be electrically connected to another lighting system.
- If the product is not used for a longer period (e.g., holidays), it must be disconnected from the power supply.
- If you have any questions about the product or are unsure about any aspect, consult a qualified electrician.
WARNING! This product must not be used if the seals are not properly fitted.
- IP44 protection is only guaranteed in conjunction with an IP44 mains socket.
- Even when the device is switched off, the power adapter still consumes a small amount of electrical energy when the mains plug is connected to the mains socket. To completely switch off the product, unplug the mains plug from the socket.
- Always disconnect the product from the power source before assembly, cleaning, or other work on the product.
- The light source, LED controller, and power adapter may only be replaced by a specialist.
- If the light source fails at the end of its service life, the entire product must be replaced.
- The product can be dimmed via the app.
- The product cannot be dimmed using external dimmers.
- Extremely rapid changes in light speed can, in certain circumstances, lead to visual impairment in children or persons with recognized mental health conditions.
- The external flexible cable or cord of this lamp cannot be replaced; if the cable is damaged, the luminaire must be scrapped.

Assembly
Ground Spike Installation (Figure B):
- Connect the LED Lamp [1] to the ground spike [2].
Connecting the Controller and Power Adapter (Figure C):
- Connect the DC power plug [3] to the DC socket [5]. Ensure seals are correctly fitted. Screw the cap nut [4] clockwise.
- Connect the DC power plug [8] to the DC socket [9]. Ensure seals are correctly fitted. Screw the cap nut [7] clockwise.
Final Placement (Figure D):
- Place the product in the desired location. Drive the ground spike [2] into the ground.
- Connect the power adapter [10] to a suitable mains socket.
- The product is now switched on and ready for use.
Operation
Pairing Product with Portable Device
Tips:
- Screenshots are from iOS 13.3 (unless otherwise stated). Older iOS versions may have functional limitations.
- The Android app works similarly to the iOS version; minor differences in commands or screen symbols may occur.
- Firmware updates may change app functionality.
- Updated manual available via the app: Go to 'Me' tab, then 'User Manual'.
Preparation:
- Install the Lidl Home app and configure the Gateway (refer to Gateway user manual).
- Connect the power adapter [10] to the mains socket. The LED lamp [1] will flash slowly, indicating it is ready for pairing.
- Open the Lidl Home app.
- Go to the 'Home' tab. Tap the [Add device icon] to add another device.
- Select category: 'Lighting'.
- Select: 'LED String Lights' (or 'LED Chain Lights' for iOS/Android).
- Select your Gateway. (Required if using 2 or more Gateways).
- Follow the app's instructions. Connection will begin.
- Name the product: Tap and enter the name.
- Tap a location to assign the product to a room (selected room will be highlighted in grey). You can change the product name and location if connecting multiple products.
- Tap 'Done'.
- Pairing is complete.
- To return to the main screen, tap [Back].
Creating Product Groups
- Open the Lidl Home app.
- Go to the 'Home' tab. Tap one of the connected LED lamps.
- Tap the [Settings icon] (top right).
- Tap 'Create group'.
- Select devices.
- Tap 'Confirm'.
- Enter a group name.
- Tap 'Save'.
Settings
White Light Settings (Color Temperature & Brightness)
Go to the 'White' tab:
- Adjust values using 2 sliders:
- Color Temperature: (Warm white to cool white)
- Brightness
- Displays current setting.
Color Settings
Go to the 'Color' tab:
- Adjust values using 3 sliders:
- Hue
- Saturation
- Color Contrast (for colored light)
- Displays current setting.
Lighting Scenarios
Go to the 'Scene' tab:
Select one of the predefined lighting scenarios:

Custom Lighting Scenarios
- Tap the icon for the desired scene (e.g., [scene icon]).
- Tap 'Edit'.
- Tap the default image to replace it:
- Take Photo (requires app permission for camera and photo library)
- Select from Album
- Cancel
- Scene Name: Change the lighting scenario name.
- Go to the 'Scene Color' tab. Tap and set the value using the slider.
- Select 'Blinking Mode in Color':
- Static: Static light
- Blink: Flashing light
- Breathing: Pulsing light
- Done: Confirm selection
- Color Blinking Speed: Adjust the speed of color blinking with the slider.
Music
Go to the 'Music' tab:
- Tap 'Music'. The setting will be confirmed.
- The product will synchronize with ambient music using the portable device's microphone.
- Color and brightness will change depending on the audio input signal. (App requires microphone access).
Color Scene Settings:
- Add more colors: Tap [Add color icon].
- Remove colors: Tap the color, then tap 'Delete'.
- Restore Default Settings: Resets the selected lighting scenario to default settings.
- Confirm: Saves the settings.
Time Settings
Countdown
The product can be automatically switched on or off after a countdown (this function is only available for a single product).
- Tap 'Remaining time'.
- Set Hours (00 to 11) and Minutes (00 to 59).
- Tap 'Confirm'.
- The remaining time is shown in the bottom left corner.
- To cancel the countdown before it expires: Tap 'Remaining time', then tap the [cancel icon]. The countdown will be deactivated. Tap 'Confirm'.
Schedule
Automatic switching on and off of the product based on a custom schedule.
- Tap 'Schedule'.
- Tap 'Add'.
- Set the time.
- Optional: Tap 'Repeat'. Select the day(s) of the week. [Checked day icon] is selected day(s). To deselect, tap the day again. To finish selection, tap [Back].
- Tap 'Note'. Enter your notes for this schedule. Tap 'Save'.
- Notifications: Tap [notification icon] to enable the function.
- Tap 'Toggle'. Select: 'On' or 'Off'. To finish selection: iOS: Tap [Back]. Android: Tap 'Done'.
- Tap 'Save'. The action will be added to the schedule.
- To turn off an action: Tap [power icon].
- To cancel an action: iOS: Swipe left. Android: Tap and hold. Tap 'Delete'.
- Add more actions if needed.
Advanced Functions
- Tap the [settings icon] (top right).
- Tap [settings icon]. Select:
- Symbol: Take Photo or Select from Album
- Name: Edit product name.
- Location: Assign the product to a room. (App requires permission for camera and photo library).
- Device Information: Displays the product's virtual identifier and timezone.
- Scenarios and Automation: Overview of Smart or automation functions for the product.
- Offline Notification: A notification will be sent if the product is offline for more than 30 minutes. Toggle 'Offline notification on' or 'Offline notification off'.
- Share Device: Grant access to the product to other family members.
- Create Group: Add the product to a group to control all products in the group synchronously. Select device, tap 'Confirm', name group, tap 'Save'. The group will appear on the app's home screen.
- Frequently Asked Questions: Search for frequently asked questions about the products.
- Check for Updates: Check the firmware version of the Zigbee module.
- Delete Device:
- Remove: Deletes the product from the app. Data remains on the product. This process resets the product to offline mode and starts pairing mode. To delete all product and cloud data, see the next point.
- Remove and delete all data: Factory reset. This function deletes all data from the product and the cloud. Use this function when transferring, disposing of, or returning the product to the manufacturer. Ensure all data on the device and in the cloud has been deleted. Follow the instructions in the app.
- Cancel: Cancels the device deletion.
Privacy Policy
Go to the 'Me' tab. 'Privacy Policy': Your full privacy policy is available here.
Execute / Automation
The app offers the option to integrate the product with other smart home devices through user-defined scenarios and automated actions. Go to the 'Smart' tab. Select 'Execute' or 'Automation'. (These functions are described in detail in the Gateway user manual. Go to 'Me' tab, tap 'User Manual').
Manual Product Reset (Reset)
- Turn the product on and off 3 times by plugging and unplugging the mains plug.
- Turn it on. The LED lamp [1] will start flashing slowly. Reset successful.
This function only resets data stored locally on the product. If you also want to restore cloud data to default settings, reset it via the app (see "Advanced Functions", "Remove and delete all data").
Cleaning and Maintenance
Cleaning
WARNING! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
- Electrical parts of the product must not be immersed in water or other liquids during cleaning or operation. Do not place the product under running water.
- Always disconnect the plug-in mains adapter from the power source before cleaning.
- Allow the product to cool down for at least 5 minutes.
- Clean the product and its accessories with a slightly damp cloth.
- Do not allow water or other liquids to enter the product.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, aggressive solutions, or hard brushes for cleaning.
- Allow to dry completely.
Storage
- Store the product in its original packaging when not in use.
- Store the product in a dry place, out of reach of children.

Disposal
Before handing the product over to another person, disposing of it, or returning it to the manufacturer, ensure that all data from the product and cloud has been deleted. To do this, refer to the following section: "Advanced Functions", menu item: "Remove and delete all data".
The packaging is made from environmentally friendly materials and can be disposed of at a local recycling facility. When segregating waste, please pay attention to the labeling of the packaging materials, which are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) as follows: 1-7: Plastics / 20-22: Paper and cardboard / 80-98: Composite materials. The product and packaging material are suitable for recycling; they should be disposed of separately for better waste processing. The Triman logo is only relevant for France.
Information on the disposal options for the exhausted product can be obtained from the municipal or city administration. For environmental protection, do not dispose of the device with household waste after its service life, but dispose of it properly. Information on collection points and their opening hours can be obtained from the relevant authority.
Warranty
The product was manufactured according to high quality standards and subjected to thorough inspection before dispatch. In the event of product defects, the buyer is entitled to statutory rights. The warranty does not limit the buyer's statutory rights.
The product is covered by a 3-year warranty, counting from the date of purchase. The warranty expires in case of damage caused by the user, improper use, or maintenance.
In the event of material or manufacturing defects occurring within 3 years of the purchase date, we will, at our own discretion, repair or replace the product free of charge.
The warranty service covers material and manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover parts subject to normal wear and tear, considered consumable parts (e.g., batteries), or damage to fragile parts such as switches, accumulators, or glass components.
According to the Civil Code, Art. 581 §1, the warranty period restarts with the replacement of the device or a significant part.

Before contacting the service department, please have your receipt and article number (IAN 397606_2107) ready as proof of purchase.
Article numbers can be found on the rating plate, engraving, the title page of its manual (bottom left), or as a sticker on the reverse or bottom side.
In case of malfunctions or other defects, please first contact the service department listed below by phone or email.
The product, if deemed defective, can then be sent free of charge to the provided service address, along with proof of purchase (receipt) and a description of the defect and when it occurred.
