Derating Curves
Ambient Temperature Derating: The primary derating curve illustrates the load capacity relative to ambient temperature. The inverter operates at 100% load up to 35°C. Between 35°C and 60°C, the load capacity decreases linearly from 100% to approximately 50%. Above 60°C, the load capacity is further reduced to prevent overheating.
DC Input Voltage Derating: A secondary graph shows how the maximum load percentage is affected by the DC input voltage. For instance, at 12Vdc input, the maximum load is limited to around 80% (or less, depending on the specific voltage point), while at higher input voltages like 24Vdc or 48Vdc, the inverter can sustain a higher load percentage, approaching 100% at optimal voltage ranges.
Remote Controller & Communication
IRC1/2/3 Remote Controller (Accessory sold separately): These units serve as monitoring and control interfaces. They can decode RS-232 signals from the inverter series and display information on digital meters. Different models (IRC1, IRC2, IRC3) offer varying display and control capabilities, indicated by LED status lights: Green for ON, Orange for OFF, Red for Abnormal, and Orange Flash for Power Saving.
RS-232 Communication: The inverter supports RS-232 communication for data reading via a single NTS-1200 unit. A communication cable (RJ11-RS232) is required and sold separately.
Remote ON-OFF Control (Built-in): The inverter features a built-in remote ON-OFF function via a dry contact connector. When the connector is Open, the power inverter is ON. When it is Shorted, the power inverter is OFF.
AC Output Voltage, Frequency, Power Saving Mode Selection: Users can adjust the output voltage, frequency, and power saving mode using DIP switches (SW1, SW2, SW3, SW4) located on the panel. Factory settings are typically 110Vac/60Hz or 230Vac/50Hz. The DIP switch table details the configurations for different voltage/frequency combinations and power saving modes.

Mechanical Specifications
The inverter has a robust metal casing with dimensions of 333mm (Length) x 184mm (Width) x 70mm (Height). The DC input terminals are located on one side, clearly marked with a warning against reverse polarity. The AC output sockets are on the opposite side, with various types available depending on the model. An RJ11 remote port is also provided. Airflow is directed across the unit, typically from front to back, facilitated by the cooling fan.
