FIRST TIME USE
SALT, RINSE AID AND DETERGENT
ADVICE REGARDING THE FIRST TIME USE
After installation, remove stoppers from racks and retaining elastic elements from the upper rack.
FILLING THE SALT RESERVOIR
The use of salt prevents limescale formation. The salt reservoir must never be empty. Set the water hardness. The salt reservoir is in the lower part of the dishwasher. Fill when the green float on the cap is no longer visible.
- Remove the lower rack and unscrew the reservoir cap (anticlockwise).
- For the first time, fill the salt reservoir with water.
- Position the funnel and fill the salt reservoir to the brim. Some water may leak out.
- Remove the funnel and wipe any salt residue from the opening.
Ensure the cap is screwed on tightly to prevent detergent from entering the container, which could damage the water softener.
Complete the salt filling procedure before starting a wash cycle to avoid corrosion.
SETTING THE WATER HARDNESS
To ensure the water softener works correctly, set the water hardness based on your local water supply. The factory default is set.
- Switch on the appliance (ON/OFF button).
- Switch off the appliance (ON/OFF button).
- Hold down button P for 5 seconds until a beep is heard.
- Switch on the appliance (ON/OFF button). The program indicator light of the current set level flashes.
- Press button P to select the desired hardness level (refer to WATER HARDNESS TABLE).
- Switch off the appliance (ON/OFF button). Setting is complete.
Run a program without loading after setting the water hardness. Use only dishwasher-specific salt. The SALT REFILL indicator light will switch off after filling.
Not filling the salt container can damage the water softener and heating element due to limescale accumulation. Salt is recommended with any dishwasher detergent.

- Press button P to select the rinse aid quantity level.
- Switch it off (ON/OFF button). Setting is complete.
Level 1 (ECO) supplies no rinse aid. A maximum of 5 levels can be set. Check the factory setting and adjust as needed. If bluish streaks appear, set a lower number (2-3). If water drops or limescale marks appear, set a higher number (4-5).
FILLING THE DETERGENT DISPENSER
Open the detergent dispenser using the opening device. Introduce detergent into the dry dispenser only. Place pre-wash detergent directly in the tub.
- Measure detergent according to instructions. The dispenser has markings for dosage.
- Remove any detergent residue from the dispenser edges and close the cover until it clicks.

Program durations may vary based on water temperature, room temperature, detergent amount, load, options, and sensor calibration.
PROGRAMS DESCRIPTION
- 1 ECO: Most efficient program for normally soiled tableware in terms of energy and water consumption. Used for EU Ecodesign legislation compliance.
- 2 INTENSIVE: Recommended for heavily soiled crockery, pans, and saucepans.
- 3 MIXED: For normally soiled dishes with dried food residues.
- 4 RAPID 40': For half loads of lightly-soiled dishes with no dried food residues. No drying phase.
- 5 HALF LOAD: Ideal for washing a half load of lightly or normally soiled crockery.
Notes: Cycle Rapid 40' is for lightly soiled dishes.
OPTIONS AND FUNCTIONS
ActiveDry: A convection drying system that automatically opens the door during/after the drying phase for improved drying. A protection foil is included for steam protection.
LOADING THE RACKS
CUTLERY RACK
The third rack is designed for cutlery. Arrange cutlery for easier collection and better washing/drying performance. Knives and utensils with sharp edges should have blades facing downwards.
FOLDABLE FLAPS WITH ADJUSTABLE POSITION
Side foldable flaps can be folded or unfolded to optimize crockery arrangement. Wine glasses can be placed safely in the foldable flaps by inserting the stem into the slots. Flaps may not remain vertical in the upper rack's high position. Follow instructions to unfold or fold flaps.
UPPER RACK
Load delicate and light dishes: glasses, cups, saucers, low salad bowls.
LOWER RACK
For pots, lids, plates, salad bowls, cutlery. Large plates and lids should be placed at the sides to avoid interference with the spray arm.
ADJUSTING THE HEIGHT OF THE UPPER RACK
The upper basket height can be adjusted: high position for bulky crockery in the lower basket, and low position for more space upwards. To adjust, lift the rack by the sides without pressing the levers until it is stable in its upper position. To lower, press the levers (A) and move the basket downwards. Do not adjust the height of the rack when it is loaded. Never raise or lower the basket on one side only.
DAILY USE
- CHECK WATER CONNECTION: Ensure the dishwasher is connected to the water supply and the tap is open.
- SWITCH ON THE DISHWASHER: Open the door and press the ON/OFF button.
- LOAD THE RACKS: Refer to the LOADING THE RACKS section.

MODIFYING A RUNNING PROGRAM
If a wrong program was selected, open the door, press and hold ON/OFF to switch off. Switch back on, select the new cycle, press START/Pause and close the door within 4 seconds.
ADDING EXTRA CROCKERY
Without switching off, open the door (START/Pause led blinks). Add crockery and press START/Pause, then close the door within 4 seconds. The cycle resumes.
ACCIDENTAL INTERRUPTIONS
If the door is opened or there is a power cut, the cycle stops. Press START/Pause and close the door within 4 seconds to resume.
ADVICE AND TIPS
- TIPS: Remove food residues before loading. Do not rinse beforehand. Arrange crockery firmly so it does not tip over. Place containers with openings facing downwards. Ensure spray arms can rotate freely. Place small items in the cutlery basket. Place heavily soiled dishes in the lower basket.
- UNSUITABLE CROCKERY: Wooden items, delicate decorated glasses, artistic handicraft, antique crockery, parts in synthetic material not withstanding high temperatures, copper and tin crockery, crockery soiled with ash, wax, lubricating grease or ink. Colors of glass decorations and aluminum/silver pieces may change. Some glass objects may become opaque.
- DAMAGE TO GLASS AND CROCKERY: Use only dishwasher-safe glasses and porcelain. Use a delicate detergent. Collect glasses and cutlery as soon as the wash cycle is over.
- TIPS ON ENERGY SAVING: Dishwashers generally consume less energy and water than hand washing when used according to instructions. Load the dishwasher fully for maximum efficiency. Use dedicated wash options for partial loads. Incorrect loading increases resource usage and reduces performance. Manual pre-rinsing is not recommended.
- HYGIENE: Run a high-temperature program at least once a month with a teaspoon of detergent without loading to clean the appliance and avoid odors and sediment.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
CLEANING THE FILTER ASSEMBLY
Regularly clean the filter assembly to prevent clogging and ensure proper wastewater flow. Using the dishwasher with clogged filters can cause malfunction, loss of performance, noise, or higher resource usage.
The filter assembly consists of three filters. Clean the assembly at least once a month or after every 30 cycles under running water using a non-metallic brush.
- Turn the cylindrical filter A anticlockwise and pull it out.
- Remove the cup filter B by pressing the side flaps.
- Slide out the stainless-steel plate filter C.
- Carefully remove any foreign objects like broken glass, porcelain, bones, or fruit seeds.
- Inspect the trap and remove food residues. NEVER remove the wash-cycle pump protection.
After cleaning, replace the filter assembly correctly for efficient operation.
CLEANING THE SPRAY ARMS
Food residue can encrust the spray arms and block the holes. Check the arms periodically and clean them with a small non-metallic brush.
To remove the upper spray arm, turn the plastic locking ring clockwise. Replace it with the side with more holes facing upwards.
The lower spray arm can be removed by pulling it upwards.
WATER SOFTENING SYSTEM
The water softener automatically reduces water hardness, preventing scale buildup on the heater and contributing to better cleaning efficiency. This system regenerates itself with salt, so the salt container must be refilled when empty.
Regeneration frequency depends on the water hardness setting. It occurs once per 6 Eco cycles with water hardness set to 3. The process starts in the final rinse and finishes in the drying phase.
Single regeneration consumes approximately 3.5L of water, adds up to 5 minutes to the cycle, and consumes less than 0.005 kWh of energy.
CLEANING THE WATER INLET HOSE
If water hoses are new or have not been used for a long time, run water to ensure it is clear and free of impurities before connecting. Failure to do so may block the water inlet and damage the dishwasher.
TROUBLESHOOTING
