Disassembly Procedure

Step 1: Initial Disconnection

Before beginning disassembly, ensure the lamp is unplugged from the electrical outlet. The main lamp unit connects to the power adapter via a cable. This connection point on the base of the lamp is indicated with the text 'ZIEHEN PULL' ?, signifying that the cable should be pulled to disconnect.

Step 2: Accessing the Base Interior

To access the internal components housed within the lamp's base, the base cover must be removed. The underside of the base features four rubber feet. The instruction 'ABZIEHEN PULL OFF' ?, accompanied by an arrow pointing to the feet and a symbol of a trash can ?️, indicates that these feet should be carefully removed to expose the screws underneath.

A Phillips head screwdriver, specifically a PH2 type ?, is required for this process.

Step 3: Removing the Base Cover

Once the feet are removed, four screws secure the base cover. These screws are typically located beneath where the feet were attached and are circled in the accompanying diagrams. Use the PH2 screwdriver to remove these four screws.

Step 4: Disconnecting Internal Wiring

After removing the base cover, the main control board (Component B, Art.-No.: 8201709.220) becomes accessible. This board manages the lamp's functions. Wires connect this board to other parts of the lamp. These wire connectors should be gently pulled to disconnect them, as indicated by 'ZIEHEN PULL' ? on the connectors.

Step 5: Accessing the LED Head Module

To service or replace the LED lighting module (Component C, Art.-No.: 8201709.200), the LED head housing needs to be opened. The housing is secured by four screws, which are circled in the diagrams. A PH2 screwdriver ? is required to remove these screws.

Step 6: Removing the LED Strip

With the LED head housing screws removed, the LED strip module can be accessed. The strip is connected via a power connector. This connector should be pulled to disconnect the LED strip from the lamp's wiring, as indicated by the 'ZIEHEN PULL' ? instruction.

Component Details

Component B: Control Board

This is the main control circuit board for the lamp, identified by the label 'TOP21-V115-12V S2R27739A0' and Art.-No.: 8201709.220. It features multiple connectors for power input and output to the LED module.

Component C: LED Strip Module

This module contains the LED lights, labeled 'MU21-6924-TS12V 12V-360mA' and Art.-No.: 8201709.200. It is a strip of LEDs designed to provide illumination for the desk lamp and connects via a dedicated power connector.
