Installation for Intel Sockets (LGA 1700/1200/115x)
Follow these steps to install the cooler on Intel motherboards:
Step 1: Prepare the CPU
Apply a small amount of thermal paste (included) to the center of the CPU's Integrated Heat Spreader (IHS). A pea-sized amount is usually sufficient.

Step 2: Install Standoffs
Screw the four Intel standoffs into the designated mounting holes on the motherboard. Ensure they are securely tightened.

Step 3: Mount the Heatsink
Place the heatsink onto the CPU, aligning the mounting holes on the heatsink bracket with the standoffs. Secure the heatsink using the two Intel mounting screws. Tighten them diagonally for even pressure.

Step 4: Attach Fan Clips
Clip the two fan clips onto the sides of the heatsink's fins, where the fan will be mounted.

Step 5: Mount the Fan
Attach the fan to the heatsink by clipping it onto the fan clips installed in the previous step. Ensure the fan's airflow direction is appropriate (usually towards the rear of the case).

Step 6: Connect Fan Cable
Connect the fan's 4-pin power cable to the CPU_FAN header on the motherboard. This header is typically labeled "CPU_FAN", "CPU_OPT", "CHA_FAN", or "SYS_FAN".

Step 7: Final Check
Ensure the cooler is firmly seated and all connections are secure.

Installation for AMD Sockets (AM5/AM4)
Follow these steps to install the cooler on AMD motherboards:
Step 1: Prepare the Motherboard
If a previous cooler is installed, remove it. Remove the stock AMD mounting brackets from the motherboard if present.

Step 2: Install AMD Mounting Brackets
Attach the AMD mounting brackets to the motherboard using the provided AMD standoffs and screws. Ensure the brackets are oriented correctly for the socket.

Step 3: Apply Thermal Paste
Apply a small amount of thermal paste (included) to the center of the CPU's Integrated Heat Spreader (IHS).

Step 4: Mount the Heatsink
Place the heatsink onto the CPU, aligning the mounting mechanism with the AMD brackets. Secure the heatsink using the two AMD mounting screws. Tighten them diagonally for even pressure.

Connection Information
The fan features a 4-pin PWM connector for speed control, compatible with CPU_FAN, CPU_OPT, CHA_FAN, or SYS_FAN headers. It also includes RGB lighting, indicated by a "+12V GRB" connection, which should be connected to a compatible RGB header on the motherboard.
