The monitor shows no image
- Check that the camera power supply is connected, the voltage is normal, and the power indicator light is always on.
- Turn off the power switch to check whether the camera is self-testing.
- Check the cable of the video platform and TV for correct connection.
The video image displayed by the camera lens is jittery
- Check whether the camera's installed position is stable.
- Check for vibrating machinery or objects near the camera.
There is no video image in Browser
Internet Explorer (IE) browser does not support H5. You may need to use a VLC plug-in to view videos. Visit www.videolan.org/vlc to download and install the 32-bit VLC media player. After installation, the camera should display normally. Other mainstream browsers already support H5 and do not require the VLC plug-in.
Unable to access camera through Browser
- Using a PC, test network access to ensure it works properly. Rule out PC virus issues first, then verify PC and camera communication via Ping.
- Disconnect the network, connect the camera and PC separately, and reset the PC's IP address.
- Check the camera's IP address, subnet mask, and gateway settings.
- Check for MAC address conflicts.
- Verify that the web port has not been modified (default web port is 80).
Forget the IP address or login password
