Product Overview
The ZowiePTZ streaming video camera is the latest 4K Ultra HD PTZ camera from Zowietek. It features HDMI output and simple, versatile controls, making it ideal for video conferencing and live video production workflows. It offers a cost-effective, professional-grade solution to replace existing 1080p cameras and transition into the 4K video era.
The ZowiePTZ is equipped with a Sony Ultra-HD 4K back-illuminated and stacked Exmor R CMOS sensor, delivering crystal clear, rich, and color-accurate video with improved low-light sensitivity. It produces stunning pictures across various shooting modes and conditions. The camera offers a choice of 12x or 18x lossless optical zoom lenses, capable of high-magnification close-ups. It can output 4K quality video via HDMI with simultaneously embedded audio.
As an IP-based camera, the ZowiePTZ facilitates easy live video streaming over a LAN, compatible with platforms like OBS, vMix, Zoom, Teams, Skype, YouTube, and Facebook.
It features comprehensive web control with live web preview, shortcuts for streaming and recording, and OSD (On-Screen Display) management. Users can fully control the ZowiePTZ camera via an intuitive web interface accessible from tablets, smartphones, PCs, web joysticks, and Xbox joysticks. Common controls such as Pan, Tilt, Zoom, Preset set/recall, and preview are easily managed through the ZowieWeb UI.
A built-in front tally light ensures on-air talent always knows which camera is live. The tally status is instantly visible on connected phones, PCs, and pads, offering more than 360-degree visibility. A built-in microphone is also available.
The camera includes a Neutral Density (ND) filter mount, designed to accommodate standard ND, UV, or polarized lenses for capturing high-quality video footage in diverse lighting conditions.
Remote control is supported via IP VISCA or serial PELCO, VISCA RS232, RS485/422 protocols, allowing control from a PC or dedicated camera controller.
A RESTful API is available for custom DIY automation and system integrators. This API integrates across the Zowietek Ecosystem of PTZ cameras, POV cameras, encoders, decoders, and future cloud support. A discovery feature helps locate all connected devices and display their names and IPs at a glance.
The camera can be powered by either DC or PoE (Power over Ethernet), enabling operation up to one hundred meters away via network connection. This allows for a single cable solution for Video, Audio, Power, and Tally.
The ZowiePTZ is an affordable, professional-grade PTZ camera suitable for a wide range of broadcast and professional A/V applications.
