Introducing your new 526L Integrated Refrigerator
This guide provides essential information for setting up and operating your new Omega 526L Integrated Quad Door Refrigerator.
Control Panel
The control panel allows you to manage your refrigerator's functions. The diagram shows the layout of the buttons and displays:
- A. Freezer Temperature Display: Shows the current temperature of the freezer compartment.
- B. Refrigerator Temperature Display: Shows the current temperature of the refrigerator compartment.
- C. Ultra Freeze Button: Activates rapid freezing for the freezer compartment.
- D. Fast Freeze Button: Initiates a fast freeze cycle.
- E. Temperature Adjustment Buttons: Used to increase or decrease temperature settings for compartments.
- F. Freezer Compartment Button: Selects the freezer compartment for temperature adjustment.
- G. Fridge Compartment Button: Selects the refrigerator compartment for temperature adjustment.
- H. Variable Temperature Zone Button: Selects the variable temperature zone for adjustment.
- I. Fast Chill Button: Activates rapid cooling for the refrigerator compartment.
- J. Child Lock Button: Press and hold for 3 seconds to lock/unlock controls. An indicator light shows the lock status.
Before Using Your Appliance
- Remove all packaging, including foam backing and tape securing shelves and door trays.
- Before use, clean the unit with a warm, soapy cloth, and dry thoroughly.
- Switch on the appliance using the Power Button (refer to page 8 of the User Manual for location).
Operating Advice
- The default temperature of the fridge is set to 5°C.
- The default temperature of the freezer is set to -18°C.
- The default temperature of the variable zone is -0°C.
- To adjust the temperature, press the Fridge, Freezer, or Variable Zone Button to cycle through the available set temperatures.
- Fast Freeze: The compressor runs continuously, automatically deactivating after 24 hours of operation or when the freezer temperature reaches -28°C.
- Fast Chill: The fridge compartment rapidly reaches the set temperature and operates for 150 minutes.
- Child Lock: Press and hold this button for 3 seconds to lock or unlock the controls. When the icon is off, the controls are unlocked. When the icon is on, the controls are locked.
