Kia Soul 2014+ Rear Left Fender Liner Installation Instructions

Step 1: Disassembly of Fasteners

Refer to Figure 1 for fastener locations.

Figure 1 Description: This diagram illustrates the removal of existing fasteners from the rear left wheel well area. It shows the fender liner attached to the vehicle's body. Key points indicate:

• Remove standard self-tapping screws (numbered 1, 2, 3, 4).
• Remove standard bolts (numbered 5, 6, 7).
• Extract standard clips (numbered 8, 9, 10, 11, 12).

Step 2: Installation of Fender Liner

Refer to Figure 2 for installation details.

Figure 2 Description: This diagram shows the process of installing the new fender liner. The new liner is positioned inside the wheel well, and its edges are aligned with the vehicle's bodywork.

Installation Procedure:

1. Take the new fender liner designed for the rear left wheel arch and place it inside the wheel well.
2. Position the outer edge of the fender liner into the recess of the wheel arch.
3. Insert the front lower edge of the fender liner between the vehicle's sill panel and the plastic trim.
4. Tuck the rear lower edge of the fender liner under the mud flap.
5. Align the mounting holes on the new fender liner with the corresponding points on the vehicle.
6. Secure the fender liner using the following fasteners:
   • Standard self-tapping screws (1, 2, 3, 4).
   • Standard bolt (5).
   • Bolts with washers (6, 7) provided in the kit.
   • Clips (8, 9, 10, 11, 12) provided in the kit.
7. Finally, screw in the self-tapping screw (13) provided in the kit to complete the installation.

The following fasteners are supplied with the fender liner kit:

• (6,7) – Bolt M6x16 (TL 013) – 2 pcs.
• (6,7) – Washer 6x17 (TL 012) – 2 pcs.
• (13) – Self-tapping screw 4.2x16 mm with drill tip (TL 011) – 1 pc.
• (8,9,10,11,12) – Clip 8mm (TL 031) – 5 pcs.
