Overview

This bulletin addresses clutch judder issues in certain 2016-2020 Kia vehicles equipped with a 7-Speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT). The judder, characterized by vehicle vibration during acceleration from a stop, can be diagnosed using a specific creep driving test.

To resolve this, Kia recommends the replacement of the Dual Clutch Assembly and an upgrade to the Transmission Control Unit (TCU) software.
