Architectural and Engineering Specifications

The Yamaha VXL1B-16P and VXL1W-16P are designed as loudspeakers for conference rooms and similar environments. They are full-range, bass-reflex, powered units featuring sixteen 1.5" cone drivers. The continuous power rating is 15 watts when using PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at) power, or 6W when using PoE (IEEE 802.3af) power.

Performance criteria include a reproduction frequency range of 80 Hz to 20 kHz (-10 dB) and a maximum output SPL of 102 dB (peak, IEC noise @ 1m, using PoE+). Coverage angles are 170° horizontal and 25° vertical (+12.5° ~ -12.5°). Built-in protection is included for speaker processing, amplifier, and power supply.

Audio and power input is received via a single Ethernet network connection, utilizing Dante digital audio network and Power over Ethernet (PoE injector or PoE network switch). DIP switches on the rear panel allow for network UNIT ID, IP address, and startup mode selection. A front panel power indicator LED shows power status, with network SYNC and LINK/ACT indicator LEDs near the Dante/NETWORK port.

The loudspeaker enclosure is constructed of extruded aluminum with ABS top and bottom boards, and features a perforated aluminum grille. Available in black (VXL1B-16P) and white (VXL1W-16P), the enclosures can be painted to match surroundings.

The loudspeakers are powered by Power over Ethernet (PoE+ or PoE) and are designed for wall-mounting. Basic mounting hardware (mounting bracket x 2, bracket base x 2, safety wire x 1, M5x10 machine screws x 2, template x 1) is supplied. Additional mounting hardware is available separately.

Dimensions (excluding mounting hardware): 54 (2.1) x 1120 (44.1) x 104 (4.1) mm (inch). Weight: 5.0 kg (11.0lbs).
