Quick Setup Guide

Before using your new product, please read these instructions to prevent any damage.

Battery Installation

Insert two AAA batteries (not included) into the remote control. Ensure that the + and – symbols on the batteries match the + and – symbols in the battery compartment.

Setting Up Your Remote Control

Note: Your remote MUST be paired with your TV before use – it will have limited functionality until pairing is complete.

Ensure your TV is powered on and not in sleep mode. The TV can be turned on using the new remote control once the batteries are installed.
On your Fire TV, go to Settings > Controllers & Bluetooth Devices > Amazon Fire TV Remotes > Add New Remote > Amazon Fire TV Remote. Your TV will display a message saying "Searching for a remote...".
When your TV displays available remotes, select "Amazon Fire TV Remote". The message "Pairing the remote..." will briefly appear. Note: Your remote control may receive a software update once it is paired with your TV. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
Press the voice button ◎. If a new screen appears, the setup is complete.

Troubleshooting

Remote Control Buttons Are Not Working

Move the remote control closer to the TV.
Repeat the setup steps.
Replace the batteries.
Certain services are subject to change at any time and may not be available in all areas, potentially requiring separate subscriptions.

Voice Commands Are Not Working

The remote control needs to be added in the Fire TV settings. Refer to the "Setting Up Your Remote Control" section.
Voice commands will not work if the basic setup is selected for the TV. To enable voice commands, reset the TV and select "Full" when prompted to choose a setup experience.
