Installation Instructions
Step 1: Remove all components from the crate. Place the worksurface on a sturdy working area with the screw holes facing up. Locate two cross bars and the ¼-20 screws. Install the screws as shown.
Step 2: Locate the left leg, right leg, and the 1 ½" bolts. Install the bolts through the legs and cross bars into the back as shown. Rotate the table on surface.
Step 3: Locate two cross bars and the lower shelf. Attach the cross bars to the lower shelf with the ¼-20 screws. Note: The 300 Series will have 2 shelf surfaces and the 400 Series has 1.
Step 4: Attach the lower shelf assembly to the bottom of the workbench with the 1 ½" bolts.
Step 5: Install the four leg levelers to the bottom of the workbench. If optional castors were purchased, install them instead of leg levelers. Rotate the workbench onto the levelers.
Step 6: Locate the back panel, four 2 ½" bolts, and four channel nuts. Align the back panel with the pre-drilled mounting holes on the rear LAN station legs. Loosely install the 2 ½" bolts through the back panel.
Step 7: Locate the ¾" round end caps. Install end caps in the locations shown.
Step 8: Locate the 1 ½" x 2" rectangle end caps. Install end caps in the locations shown.
Assembly for 100 & 200 Series
Step 1 (ALL SERIES): Please note that the number of screw locations varies by the size of the bench. A picture of a 48" bench is shown. Attach cross bars to the work surface using ¼-20 screws.
Step 2 (ALL SERIES): Attach the Left Leg and Right Leg to the work surface. Use 1 ½" bolts (not 2 ½" bolts) and attach the cross bars.
Step 3 (ALL SERIES): Rotate the assembly. Attach the lower shelf (half bottom for 100 & 400 Series, second shelf for 200 & 300 Series) using ¼-20 screws.
Step 4 (ALL SERIES): Attach the lower shelf assembly to the legs using 1 ½" bolts.
Step 5 (ALL SERIES): Attach the lower shelf to the left side with (2) 1 ½" Hex Drive Bolts. Assemble the Right side similarly. Do not fully tighten yet. Screw in the (4) Levelers into the bottom of the frame. Optional casters can be used instead.
Step 6 (200 & 300 SERIES ONLY): For 100 & 400 Series, skip this step. Attach the lower shelf with 1 or 2 cross bars using 1 ½" bolts.
Step 7 (ALL SERIES): Install levelers. If optional casters were purchased, install them instead.
Step 8 (300 & 400 SERIES): This completes the assembly for the 300 SERIES & 400 SERIES. For 100 SERIES & 200 SERIES, continue to STEP 9.
Step 9 (100 SERIES & 200 SERIES): Attach the back plate using 2 ½" bolts and channel nuts. Ensure the grooves in the channel nut face the bench. Leave space between the nut and the frame.
Step 10 (100 SERIES & 200 SERIES): Attach the upper shelf channels using 2 ½" Hex Drive Bolts and channel nuts.
Step 11 (100 SERIES & 200 SERIES): Adjust height and tighten bolts for the upper shelves.
Step 12 (100 SERIES & 200 SERIES): Attach the Left and Right Upper Shelf Supports using 1 ½" bolts and channel nuts. Ensure the larger holes on the shelf supports face outward.
Step 13 (100 SERIES & 200 SERIES): Attach upper shelves to the shelf supports using ¼-20 screws.
Step 14 (100 SERIES & 200 SERIES): Secure the upper shelf assemblies using 1 ½" bolts.
Step 15 (100 SERIES & 200 SERIES): Install ¾" round end caps on the legs and frame.
Step 16 (100 SERIES & 200 SERIES): Install 1 ½" x 1 ½" and 1 ½" x 2" end caps on the frame and upper shelf supports.
