Install the Bolt Lock Body

1. Determine if the bolt lock body length needs adjustment.

Lock Center Measurement Diagram: Shows a door edge with a hole for the lock body. A dashed line indicates the center of the lock. Dimensions are shown: 2¾ in / 60 mm.

If the lock center is 2¾ in / 60 mm, insert the bolt lock body directly.

Bolt Length Adjustment Diagram: Shows the bolt lock body being rotated 180 degrees. The "TOP" label is visible. Dimensions are shown: 2¾ in / 70 mm.

If the lock center is 2¾ in / 70 mm, adjust the bolt length to 2¾ in / 70 mm by rotating the bolt 180°. Rotate the surface of the bolt lock body until it reaches the 2¾ in / 70 mm position. Ensure the "TOP" label is facing upwards.

2. Insert the body into the door edge bore. Ensure the "TOP" label is facing upwards and the T-shaped slot for the tailpiece is centered in the face bore.

Bolt Lock Body Insertion Diagram: Shows the bolt lock body being inserted into the door edge. Guide holes and the T-slot are visible. The "TOP" label is oriented upwards. A door sensor wire is shown attached to the bolt lock body.

Before installing the bolt lock, insert the door sensor wire terminal into the edge bore and pull it out from inside the door to straighten it. Be careful not to damage the wire or terminal.
