Introduction

The TransMount CRANE 3S SmartSling Handle functions as both a sling handle and a stabilizer remote controller. The package includes the Handle and this User Guide. Installation instructions are demonstrated using the ZHIYUN CRANE 3S.

Installation and Detachment

Installation

1. Remove the protective cover from the bottom of the CRANE 3S battery compartment.

2. Insert the Handle into the slot until the security lock engages.

3. Slightly lift the handle to ensure contact with the pins.

4. Pull the latch until it securely attaches to the bottom of the battery compartment.

Detachment

1. To detach, first unlock the latch.

2. Press and hold the security lock while pulling the Handle out.

2. AV Button [AV]: Press to enter the aperture parameter settings.

5. OLED Display: Shows stabilizer and camera parameters.
6. Go Mode Button [GO]: Press and hold to activate Go Mode (increased responsiveness).
7. Record Button []: Press to start/end video recording (?).
8. LV Button: Press to enter/exit Live Preview Mode.
9. Shutter Button: Half-press for autofocus, full-press for photos.
10. Right []: Navigate next option/confirm selection (➡️).
11. Dial: Switch options or enter/exit menu.
12. WT Zoom Rocker: Controls electronic zoom for compatible cameras/controllers.
13. Parameter Dial: Adjust camera parameters.
14. Pin: Connection point for Handle and CRANE 3S.
15. Following Mode [F]: Enter Following Mode.

Wheel (control wheel settings)

sensi (control wheel sensitivity): low, medium, high.
AB Point*: A (Set current wheel position as A point), B (Set current wheel position as B point), clear (Clear AB Points).
priority: handle (Prioritize handle control), external (Prioritize external control).
reverse: off, on.

Joystick (Joystick settings)

reverse: vertical (off/on), horizontal (off/on).

Rocker (WT Zoom Rocker settings)

sensi: low, medium, high.
AB Point*: A (Set current wheel position as A point), B (Set current wheel position as B point), clear (Clear AB Points).

Calibration (Calibration settings)

angle: yes (Enter six-side calibration), no (Exit calibration settings). pitch (Fine-tune tilt axis angle), roll (Fine-tune roll axis angle).

Focus/Follow Focus and Zoom/Focus Controller settings

Lite: upgrade firmware of TransMount Servo Focus Motor (Lite).
Max: upgrade firmware of TransMount Servo Zoom/Focus Motor (Max).
