Installation
Use a flathead screwdriver to carefully pry apart the unit's housing.
Diagram: A flathead screwdriver is shown being used to gently separate the two halves of the surface-mount box. Strip the Cat6 cable's PVC jacket 1 ½ inches (30 mm). Separate the cable wires into four pairs.

Use a punch-down tool (such as Tripp Lite model N046-000) to complete the terminations and cut off any excess wire.

Diagram: Cable ties are used to bundle and secure installed Cat6 cables to the base of the surface-mount box. Once all cables are secured to the unit's housing, reattach the unit's top cover.

Warranty & Product Registration
3-Year Limited Warranty
Tripp Lite warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of three (3) years from the date of initial purchase. After 90 days from purchase, the obligation is limited to replacing parts on defective products. To obtain service, contact Tripp Lite or an authorized service center. Products must be returned with transportation charges prepaid and accompanied by a description of the problem and proof of purchase. This warranty does not apply to equipment damaged by accident, negligence, misapplication, or alteration. It applies only to the original purchaser who registered the product within 10 days of purchase.
Warranties for Tripp Lite surge suppressors are void if connected to a UPS system output. Warranties for Tripp Lite UPS Systems are void if a surge suppressor is connected to their output receptacles.
EXCEPT AS PROVIDED HEREIN, TRIPP LITE MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Specifically, Tripp Lite is not liable for costs such as lost profits, loss of equipment, loss of use, loss of software, loss of data, costs of substitutes, or claims by third parties.
