About Mync Description
The Mync features and update history described in this document all target Mync Standard attached to EDIUS 9. For Mync Basic/Standard used as a standalone product, please refer to the Mync Release Notes.

EDIUS
- Added thumbnail display to the Marker palette.
- Support for H.265/HEVC file export using NVIDIA graphics card hardware encoder.
- Accelerated multicam audio synchronization engine.
- Added support for EIZO CG3146 and CS2740-X in monitor control.
- Support for importing XAVC HS / XAVC S-I clips.
- Support for the following Blackmagic RAW clips:
- Clips shot with Canon EOS C300 Mark II and Blackmagic Video Assist.
- Clips shot with Panasonic AU-EVA1 and Blackmagic Video Assist.
- Clips shot with Canon EOS 1D X Mark III and EOS R5 using Canon Cinema RAW Light.

Revision History
EDIUS
The following issues have been fixed/improved in this version:
- When "Record Timestamp" is specified as the sync point for multicam sync, clips without record timestamps are no longer excluded.
- When "Clip Out Point" is specified as the sync point for multicam sync and the output destination is set to the current sequence, EDIUS no longer freezes.
- When "Clip In Point" is specified as the sync point for multicam sync and the output destination is set to the current sequence, multicam sync no longer fails.
- EDIUS System Reporter no longer appears during multicam sync when a large number of clips are selected.
- Adding multiple tracks no longer takes a very long time.
- Exported Dolby Digital Plus audio files now include loudness information.
- Video and audio in sequence clips no longer desynchronize even if they appear out of sync; the frame count is now displayed correctly. (SFDC00755222)
- Exporting H.264 mov files longer than 2 hours to AWS S3 no longer fails. (SFDC00752130) (EDIUS Cloud only)
- Voiceover audio files are no longer overwritten unintentionally. (SFDC00751022)
- When replacing clips, keyframes for clip effects are no longer unintentionally shifted. (SFDC00745114)
Mync
- Clip names tagged in AWS S3 are now displayed correctly in the EDIUS source browser. (SFDC00753549) (EDIUS Cloud only)
- The average bitrate of exported 50p/59.94p H.264 MP4 files is no longer lower than the specified value.
- When exporting a timeline sequence containing both VA and V tracks to AAF, some audio tracks are no longer missing.
- EDIUS no longer force quits during timeline scrubbing.
- EDIUS no longer force quits when playing specific .m2p clips.
- Accent symbols from extended Western European character sets in closed captions for SD clips are no longer lost.
- EDIUS no longer displays specific DVCPRO HD clips in 4:3 aspect ratio.
- The H.264/AVC MOV exporter now correctly outputs linear PCM audio.
- When saving projects, marker colors are now saved with their default settings.
- EDIUS no longer ignores crop information for ProRes RAW clips.
- VTR Emulation no longer fails when the timeline frame rate is 59.94i.
- Batch exports using the AAF Project Exporter no longer fail with specific settings.
Mync (Continued)
- Mync no longer force quits when playing specific .m2p clips.
- Accent symbols from extended Western European character sets in closed captions for SD clips are no longer lost.
- Mync no longer displays specific DVCPRO HD clips in 4:3 aspect ratio.
- Mync no longer ignores crop information for ProRes RAW clips.
- Black images are no longer displayed when playing Canon EOS C500 Mark II Cinema RAW clips in draft preview mode.
Limitations
Format Restrictions Due to QuickTime for Windows Uninstallation
If QuickTime for Windows is uninstalled, the following file formats will no longer be handled:
- Still Images: Flash Pix, Mac Pict, QuickTime Image
- Video (MOV): M4V and MOV files with other codecs
- Video (MOV): 3GP, 3G2 (Export)
- Audio: MOV (Linear PCM, AAC excluded), QuickTime Audio
