How to Use

  1. Place the projector on a stable horizontal surface (e.g., table, TV stand) facing the desired vertical projection surface (e.g., wall, projection screen). Plug the projector with the power cable into a working AC power socket, and connect your external video and audio sources into the applicable input ports.
  2. Before using the remote controller for the first time, insert the included AA batteries* 2 into the remote. Power on the projector and follow the on-screen instructions to pair the remote.
  3. To set up the projection area yourself, select (Settings > Projection > Installation Assistant) and follow the on-screen instructions. For professional assistance, contact your local installation provider.
  4. If the projected picture is out of focus and/or distorted, select (Settings > Projection > Auto-Focus / Keystone) to correct it.
  5. For safe viewing and to prevent eyesight damage, enable Smart Eye Protection (Settings > Projection > Smart Eye Protection). During operation, DO NOT look directly at the projector lens.
  6. The BP5000 can also be used as a speaker (audio-only) without using the screen. Select (Settings > Switch off Display).
  7. You can project a screen size of 100 inches (255 cm) from just 8.7 inches (22 cm) away from the wall.
