Product Interface and Dimensions
The projector features various ports and physical characteristics. Dimensions are approximately 105mm and 60mm. Key interfaces include HDMI, USB, and a 3.5mm audio output. Physical features include a power key, screw hole (1/4 inch nut, depth 6mm) for mounting, and a nameplate.
USAGE TIPS
1. Power Operation
Power On: Press the power key to turn on the CP180.
Power Off: While the CP180 is operating, press the power key to shut it down.
2. Focus Adjustment
The CP180 features an autofocus function. If the projection display is not crisp enough, use the "F+" and "F-" keys on the remote control to manually sharpen the image.
3. Initial Setup
When using the CP180 for the first time, follow the on-screen instructions to connect to Wi-Fi.
Bluetooth Remote Pairing
If you skipped Bluetooth remote control setup during startup or need to set it up again, follow these steps:
Method 1:
- Activate Bluetooth Pairing Mode: Press the "Activate Bluetooth Pairing Mode" key on the remote control.
- Pair with Bluetooth Remote: Press and hold the "Menu" and "Mute" keys on the remote control simultaneously. When the indicator light flashes, pairing mode is active. The pairing is complete when the indicator light turns off.
Method 2:
Setting Bluetooth Add accessory.
Wi-Fi Connection
If you skipped Wi-Fi configuration during initial setup, you can configure it later via: Setting → Wi-Fi → Connect your Wi-Fi / Add new network.
4. Start to Use
Users can access audiovisual content via apps in the App Center or its store. The projector also supports wireless mirroring from smartphones, connection via HDMI to computers or DVD players, and multimedia file access from a USB drive.
5. Wireless Projection
Note: Ensure both the CP180 and your device are connected to the same network.
- For iOS: Open Control Center and select "Screen Mirroring → HP Projector".
- For iOS and Android: Install the "TV Casting" app. Open it and follow on-screen instructions to mirror your device's screen.
6. Speaker Mode
The CP180 can function as a Bluetooth speaker when paired with your device. To enter "Speaker Mode," pair with "HP Projector BT." The projection screen will temporarily deactivate. Exit "Speaker Mode" by pressing the "Back" key on the remote control.
7. Setting
Users can personalize projector settings, including network configuration, Bluetooth pairing, and other advanced system preferences.
8. Advanced Features
The CP180 supports auto focus, auto keystone correction, and side projecting. Enable/disable these features by visiting https://www.hp-projector.com/.
Keystone Correction Details:
- The CP180 supports automatic keystone correction for vertical (up and down) adjustments.
- Horizontal (left and right) automatic keystone correction is not supported.
- Under manual keystone adjustment, select "4-point Keystone" or "4-side Keystone" to fine-tune image alignment.
