The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage resulting from such use; the risk lies solely with the user. Proper use includes correct operation and regular maintenance and repair as per the manufacturer's instructions.
1.4 Important Warning Notices
[WARNING]: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, read and follow all safety instructions and labels before use. This vacuum cleaner is designed to be safe when used for its specified cleaning functions. If electrical or mechanical parts are damaged, the vacuum cleaner or accessories must be repaired by a competent service workshop or the manufacturer before it is used again to prevent further damage to the appliance and injury to users.
- Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces to reduce the risk of electric shock.
- This appliance is intended for indoor use only.

- Do not pull the appliance by the cord or carry it by the cord. Do not use the cord as a handle. Ensure the cord is not pinched or pulled around sharp edges or corners. Do not run over the cord with the vacuum cleaner. Ensure the cord does not come into contact with hot surfaces.
- Keep hair, loose clothing, and body parts away from openings or moving parts of the appliance. Do not use the appliance if any opening is blocked or if objects are inserted into the openings. Keep openings clear of dust, lint, hair, and other material that could impede airflow.

- Operating personnel must be thoroughly instructed in the operation of this appliance.
- This appliance is only suitable for dry operation.
1.5 Double Insulated Appliances
[CAUTION]: Use only as described in this manual and with accessories recommended by the manufacturer. Before connecting the vacuum cleaner, check that the voltage indicated on the rating plate matches the available mains voltage (max. ± 10% deviation is permissible). This appliance features double insulation. Use only identical spare parts. Refer to the instructions for maintenance of double insulated appliances. Double insulated appliances use two systems of insulation instead of earthing. Appliances with double insulation have no provision for earthing, and none should be fitted. Maintenance of a double insulated appliance requires the utmost care and knowledge of the appliance and must only be performed by trained service technicians. Spare parts for double insulated appliances must be identical to the parts they replace. An appliance with double insulation is marked with the words "DOPPELISOLIERUNG" or "DOPPELT ISOLIERT" or by a symbol (a square within a square) [symbol: square within a square]. This appliance is equipped with a specially constructed supply cord. If it becomes damaged, it must be replaced with a cord of the same type. This is available from authorized service workshops and dealers and must be installed by trained technicians.
1.6 Electrical Connection
[WARNING]: Do not use the appliance if the condition of the mains connection lead is not perfect. The mains connection lead must be regularly inspected for signs of damage or aging. The mains connection lead must only be replaced by a trained person.
- Do not touch electrical cables or plugs with wet hands.
- Do not pull the plug from the socket by the cord; pull by the plug itself. After use and before cleaning or maintenance, pull the plug from the socket.
1.7 Hazardous Materials
[WARNING]: Vacuuming hazardous materials can lead to severe or fatal injuries.
The following materials must not be vacuumed:
- Health hazardous dusts.
- Hot materials (e.g., smoldering cigarettes, hot ash).
- Flammable, explosive, aggressive liquids (e.g., gasoline, solvents, acids, alkalis, etc.).
- Flammable, explosive dusts (e.g., magnesium, aluminum dust, etc.).
1.8 Maintenance
The vacuum cleaner must be stored dry. It is virtually maintenance-free. Only the dust filter needs occasional replacement depending on the duration of use. The surface of the vacuum cleaner should be cleaned with a dry cloth, possibly with a mild plastic cleaner. Service is performed by service centers or at the point of purchase.
1.9 Product Liability
Warranty and guarantee are subject to our general terms and conditions. Unauthorized modifications to the appliance, the use of incorrect accessories, or non-intended use exclude the manufacturer's liability for resulting damages. In accordance with European Directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment, used electrical appliances must be collected separately and sent for environmentally sound recycling.
