Battery Installation
Transmitter: Remove the battery compartment cover. Insert 2 x AA batteries, observing the correct polarity. Replace and lock the battery cover.
Model: Remove the battery compartment cover. Insert 5 x AA batteries, observing the correct polarity. Close and lock the battery compartment cover.
Battery Warnings
- Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
- Do not open batteries. Do not dispose of in fire.
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable batteries.
- Rechargeable batteries must be removed from the toy before charging.
- Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
- Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.
Transport Locks
Note: The round transport locks used to secure the vehicle in the packaging can be used to open and close the locks on the vehicle and transmitter.
Binding Procedure
- Insert batteries into the transmitter. The transmitter LED will flash, indicating it is ready to bind.
- Switch on the model.
- When the transmitter LED stops flashing, the vehicle is bound to the transmitter.
The transmitter automatically turns off after approximately 60 seconds of inactivity but reactivates when any transmitter button is pressed. The vehicle has an On/Off switch which must be used after use to prevent battery discharge.
Operating Instructions
- Forward/Reverse: Press the forward or reverse button to move the model.
- Steering (Left/Right): Use the left or right control to steer the model.
- Trim Lever: If the model pulls to one side, use the trim lever located on the bottom of the model to adjust its straight-line performance.
Cool-down Period
Allow the model to cool down for at least 10 minutes after each use before putting it back into operation or changing batteries. Overheating can damage electronics or cause fire.
Safety Measures
- Keep hands away from moving parts.
- Use only under direct adult supervision.
- Check battery status and replace when empty. Pay attention to polarity when inserting batteries.
- Be aware of environmental frequencies.
- Do not operate in rain, snow, wetness, or sand.
- Do not drive on public roads or busy areas.
- Always operate within the transmitter's range and within sight.
- Do not expose to direct sunlight or extreme heat.
- Clean the model with a damp cloth.
- Do not store batteries/packs in the model when not in use.
Disposal Instructions
Batteries:
Do not dispose of batteries or accumulators in household waste. They must be disposed of separately according to local regulations. Return old batteries to retailers or designated collection points. Batteries may contain substances harmful to health and the environment (e.g., mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), lead (Pb)).
Electrical Equipment:
Do not dispose of electrical equipment in household waste. It must be disposed of separately at municipal collection points. If personal data is stored on the equipment, remove it before disposal.
