Product Overview
Front View
The front view of the camera shows:
- Lens: The primary optical component.
- PIR sensor: Passive Infrared sensor for motion detection.
- MIC: Microphone for audio capture.
- Photosensor: Detects ambient light levels, used for night vision switching.
- Status indicator: An LED light indicating device status.
Rear View
The rear view of the camera shows:
- Loudspeaker: For audio output.
- Base: Used for mounting and can be rotated to adjust the camera's field of view (FOV).
Side View (Implied)
The side of the camera features:
- Power: Power button.
- USB port: For power input or data transfer.
Note: The protective film on the PIR sensor is delicate and can be easily scratched. Avoid touching it unnecessarily; minor wear will not affect functionality.
Gateway Overview
The gateway features:
- Cable interface: For wired network connection.
- MicroSD slot: For inserting a microSD card for storage.
- Status indicator: An LED light indicating device status.
- USB charging port: For powering the device.
- Reset button: Used to reset the gateway.
- Cooling holes: For ventilation.
Note: Use microSD cards from reliable manufacturers with a maximum capacity of 64GB, formatted as FAT32. A read/write speed of U1/Class10 or higher is recommended. The gateway should be installed between your router and the camera.

Product Installation
The IMILAB Wire-Free Home Security Camera can be installed indoors or outdoors within the gateway's signal coverage, without needing a power socket nearby. Place the gateway close to your router, ensuring a distance of 1-15 meters between the camera and gateway, free from shelter or interference.
Installation on Wall
Step 1: Drill two holes on the wall. Use the camera's base or a template to mark the hole locations with a pencil. Each hole should be approximately 0.6cm in diameter and 2.5cm deep.

Step 2: Insert two wall anchors into the drilled holes.

Step 3: Position the mounting gasket and secure it by tightening screws into the plastic anchors.

Step 4: Align the grooves on the bottom of the camera with the raised area on the gasket. Press down until flush, then turn the camera in either direction to lock it securely in place.

Wall Mounting Precautions
- To prevent accidental injury, ensure the device is securely anchored to the wall according to the instructions. The wall must support at least triple the product's total weight.
- Do not install the device near heat sources like air conditioner external units, range hood outlets, or gas water heaters.
- Avoid placing the device in rainy environments for extended periods.
Note: Damage caused by improper installation is not covered under warranty.
Turning the Gateway On
Step one: Connect one end of the power cord to the USB port at the back of the gateway and the other end to a power source.

Step two: After powering on, check the gateway's indicator status. A steady yellow light indicates the gateway is starting up; a flashing yellow light indicates it is waiting for connection.
Connect with Mi Home / Xiaomi Home App
This product is compatible with the Mi Home / Xiaomi Home app. Control your device by downloading and installing the app. You can scan a QR code (not included in this text) to download the app or search for "Mi Home / Xiaomi Home" in your app store. Once installed, open the app, tap the [+] icon in the upper right corner, and follow the prompts to add your device.
* The app is known as Xiaomi Home in Europe (excluding Russia). The name displayed on your device should be considered the default.
Note: App versions may be updated. Follow the instructions based on the current app version.
Add Gateway
Method One: Open the Mi Jia app, navigate to the home page, tap [+] in the upper right corner to enter the "Add device" page. Tap the QR code icon in the upper right corner and quickly add the gateway by scanning the QR code on the previous page or the one on the bottom of the camera.
Method Two: Open the Mi Jia app home page, tap [+] in the upper right corner to enter the "Add device" page. Scan for nearby devices (Android users only) or manually enter "IMILAB Wire-Free Camera GateWay" into the search box to add the device.

Configure your wireless network account and password following the in-app instructions. A steady blue light indicates the gateway is connected; a flashing yellow light indicates a connection failure. After wireless network configuration, the gateway will automatically switch to a wired connection if a network cable is plugged into its interface, potentially improving network transmission rate and stability.
Gateway/Camera Reset
- Gateway: Long press the reset button for 8 seconds. The indicator will flash yellow, signifying a successful reset.
- Camera: Long press the power button for 8 seconds. The indicator will flash blue, signifying a successful reset.
Add Camera
In the Mi Jia app, click "IMILAB Wire-Free Camera GateWay" on the home page to enter the "Add Camera" page. Tap "Add now". Long press the camera's power button for 2 seconds; the indicator will flash blue, indicating the camera is ready to connect. Tap "Next"; the gateway is ready to connect, and its indicator will flash blue. Follow the in-app steps to connect the camera. Upon successful connection, the app will display "Connected". Maintain a distance of over 1 meter between the camera and the gateway during connection and use.

Gateway Reset Button
Reset: Long press for 8 seconds. If the indicator flashes yellow, the gateway is successfully reset.
Camera Power Button
Power on: Long press for 2 seconds. If the indicator flashes green once, the camera is on.
Power off: Long press for 2 seconds. If the indicator flashes red once, the camera is off.
Reset: Long press for 8 seconds. If the indicator flashes blue, the camera is successfully reset.
Playback
The playback feature is available only after a compatible microSD card is installed in the gateway. Once the card is inserted and the security camera is turned on, videos will be recorded automatically. Access the playback feature by clicking "Playback" in the IMILAB Wire-Free Home Security Camera control interface within the Mi Jia app, then select the desired time period.
Real-Time Monitoring
Launch the Mi Jia app and select a connected "IMILAB Wire-Free Home Security Camera" or "IMILAB Wire-Free Camera Gateway" to monitor your surroundings in real-time. Through the camera's control interface, you can perform screen capture, screen recording, and remote communication.

Supporting Infrared Night Vision
The camera automatically switches to night vision mode via an IR-CUT filter, based on ambient light changes detected by the photosensor. Equipped with eight infrared illuminators, the security camera can view subjects up to 9 meters away and capture clear images in the dark.

Shared Remote Viewing
Through the IMILAB Wire-Free Home Security Camera control interface in the Mi Jia app, you can designate your security camera as a shared device within the General Settings menu. Invite friends to view the camera remotely; they will need to download the Mi Jia app and log in with their Xiaomi account.

Automatic Monitoring
- Configure this feature through the Mi Jia app by navigating to "IMILAB Wire-Free Camera GateWay" -> "IMILAB Wire-Free Home Security Camera" -> "Automatic Monitoring".
- This device can detect movement within its field of view. When movement is detected, a video is recorded, and you will receive a notification. Users can customize the security time, alarm sensitivity, and time intervals.

Precautions
- The suitable operating temperature range for this product is between -20°C to 50°C. Do not use the product outside this range.
- When charging, the operating temperature range is between 0°C to 45°C. Do not charge the product outside this range.
- Using the product in low temperatures or during charging may affect its standby time, which is also related to user environment and habits.
- To improve performance, avoid placing the camera lens facing or next to reflective surfaces like glass windows/doors or white walls, as this can cause overly bright images close to the camera, darker areas further away, or white image output.
- Install the product in areas with good Wi-Fi reception, preferably where the Wi-Fi signal is strong. Keep the security camera away from metal structures, microwave ovens, or other locations that may interfere with signal strength.
- Do not attempt to replace the camera's battery yourself. Improper replacement can lead to a danger of explosion.
- The battery (or battery pack) must not be exposed to sunlight, fire, or similar overheating conditions.
- This is a low-power consumption camera with a built-in battery. To preserve battery life, avoid using the Real-Time Monitoring feature for extended periods while charging.
