Note: The illustration shows 8 mounting brackets and the hardware for one side.

Installation Procedure

1. Preparation: Remove all contents from the box and verify all parts are present. Read instructions carefully before starting. Assistance is recommended.
2. Mounting Bracket Installation (Driver Side):
   • Start installation on the driver side of the vehicle. Locate the 6 plugs along the bottom edge of the body.
   • Mounting Brackets bolt to the 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 6th threaded mounting holes. Remove the plastic plugs from each mounting location.
   • Above each threaded insert, there is a top mounting location on the side of the body panel. Hold a bracket up to help determine the correct mounting holes.
   • NOTE: Thread an 8mm Hex Bolt into the threaded inserts to clear paint as required.
   • Select one Mounting Bracket. Starting at the front of the driver/left side, bolt the bracket to the factory threaded holes using two (2) 8mm Hex Bolts, two (2) 8mm Lock Washers, and two (2) 8mm Flat Washers. Do not tighten hardware completely at this time.
   • Repeat for the remaining three (3) Mounting Brackets on the driver/left side.
3. Sidebar Attachment (Driver Side):
   • Select the Driver/left Sidebar. The front stepping pad is farther from the front end of the sidebar.
   • Place the Sidebar on top of the Brackets. IMPORTANT: Do not slide the Sidebar (front to back) on the Brackets, as this may damage the finish.
   • Attach the Sidebar to the Brackets using eight (8) 8mm Combo Bolts.
4. Final Tightening and Adjustment:
   • Level and adjust the Sidebar, then fully tighten all hardware.
5. Passenger Side Installation: Repeat Steps 1-6 to install the Passenger/right Sidebar.
6. Periodic Inspection: Perform periodic inspections to ensure all hardware is secure and tight.

Care and Maintenance

To protect your investment, wax the product after installation. Regular waxing is recommended to add a protective layer over the finish.

Do not use any type of polish or wax that may contain abrasives that could damage the finish. Aluminum polish may be used to polish small scratches and scuffs. Mild soap may be used to clean the Sidebars.
