Operating Manual

Connecting to BT

Please turn the Speaker on and put it on the "OPEN" Mode.
On your smart device, search for the BT device, and you should see "MPD1223" as one of your devices.
Please select that on your smart device, and you should be connected to BT.
Now you should be ready to enjoy your tunes through this speaker.

MMC Function

Press "MODE" on the remote or "Mode" on the back panel to switch to MMC Mode or just insert an MMC card.
MMC mode will start automatically.
Press "PLAY/PAUSE" to continue play/pause music.
Press "NEXT" button to go to the next song.
Press "PREVIOUS" to go back to the previous song.
Press "REPEAT" to replay the same song.

USB Function

Press "MODE" on the remote or "Mode" on the back panel to switch to USB Mode or just insert a USB flash drive.
USB mode will start automatically.
Press "PLAY/PAUSE" to continue play/pause music.
Press "NEXT" button to go to the next song.
Press "PREVIOUS" to go back to the previous song.
Press "REPEAT" to replay the same song.

FM Radio Function

Press "MODE" on the remote or "Mode" on the back panel to switch to FM Mode. Radio will start automatically.
Press "PLAY/PAUSE" to enter automatic FM channel searching.
Press "NEXT" button to go to the next frequency.
Press "PREVIOUS" to go back to the previous frequency.

The Maxpower MPD1223 is a portable speaker designed for entertainment. It features a telescopic handle and wheels for easy transport, along with vibrant LED lighting effects.

Remote Control

The remote control provides access to various functions:

1. Mode selection: Switch between USB, Micro SD, Radio, and AUX inputs.
2. Standby: Puts the device in standby mode.
3. Play/Pause: Controls music playback.
4. Equalizer: Adjusts audio equalization.
5. Repeat: Repeats the current track or playlist.
6. Number Selection (0-9): Directly select tracks or frequencies.
7. LED light on/off: Controls the LED lighting.
8. Volume up: Increases the volume.
9. Volume down: Decreases the volume.
10. Next: Skips to the next track or FM frequency.
11. Previous: Skips to the previous track or FM frequency.
12. Mute: Mutes the audio output.

Control Panel Functions

The control panel on the unit includes:

1. Microphone input: For connecting a microphone.
2. Microphone volume adjustment: Controls microphone volume.
3. Echo adjustment: Adjusts the echo effect for the microphone.
4. Bass adjustment: Controls low-frequency sound.
5. Treble adjustment: Controls high-frequency sound.
6. LED display / Remote control receiving window: Shows information and receives remote signals.
7. Micro SD input: Slot for Micro SD cards.
8. DC 5V power input: Port for charging the device.
9. Audio input: For connecting external audio sources via cable.
10. Charging light: Indicates charging status (on when charging, off when full).
11. Power switch / Total volume adjustment: Turns the device on/off and controls overall volume.
12. USB port input: Slot for USB flash drives.
13. Recording Function: Short press for USB/TF mode to start recording; long press to record and play.
14. Microphone Priority / Loop Playback: Short press to toggle microphone priority; long press for loop playback.
15. Next Song: Skips to the next track or down a frequency in FM mode.
16. Play/Pause / TWS Pairing: Short press to play/pause music or initiate FM auto-search. Long press for 3 seconds to initiate TWS pairing.
17. Previous Song: Skips to the previous track or up a frequency in FM mode.
18. Mode Selection / LED Control: Short press to cycle through USB, Micro SD, BT, RADIO, and AUX modes. Long press to turn LED lights on/off.

TWS Function (How to Pair Two Speakers Together)

Power on both speakers of the same model.
Ensure both speakers are within 2 feet of each other.
Once powered on, both speakers' front displays should be flashing "OPEN".
Pick any speaker and press and hold the Play/Pause button for 3 seconds.
One of the speakers will stop flashing "OPEN" and display "OPEN" steadily on its display.
On your smart device, search for the BT device named "MPD1223" and connect it.
You should now experience stereo sound from both speakers.
To disconnect the speakers from TWS mode, press and hold the Play/Pause button for 3 seconds on either speaker.

Important Notes

⚠️ CAUTION:

Do not use the machine while charging, as this may cause battery damage.
To save battery power, turn off speaker lights when not in use.
Please keep the machine away from water and moisture.
Do not open the machine or remove the back panel. This machine carries high voltage and could be very dangerous.
In case of service needed, please call a certified technician or our customer service department. Do not attempt to fix it yourself.
