Getting Started
Charge It
- Plug the micro USB cable into the micro USB port on the bottom of the headphone.
- Connect the other end of the cable to a computer USB port or a USB-compatible car or wall charger.
- The charging LED light will turn red while charging.
- When charging is complete, the LED light will turn off.
- Charging time is approximately 2-3 hours.
Note: A flashing red LED light on the bottom of the right earpad indicates a low battery.
Turn It On/Off
- Press and hold the power button on the headphone's left earpad to turn the headphones on. The headphone will flash a blue LED light.
- To turn the headphones off, press and hold the power button for 2-3 seconds. A red light will flash to indicate it is turning off.
Pair & Connect With a New Device
- Press the power button for about 2-3 seconds to turn on the headset. The LED light at the bottom of the earpad will flash blue, indicating the headphones are ready to be paired.
- On your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone, tablet, or media player, navigate to the Bluetooth settings menu, turn on Bluetooth, and search for new devices.
- "MERKURY BTH09" should appear in the list. Select it.
- The headphone will prompt a sound, and the Bluetooth LED will flash blue to confirm successful pairing.
- If your device asks for a PIN code, enter 0000 or 1234.
- For AUX connection: Connect one end of the included AUX cable to the headphone jack at the bottom of the headphone and the other end to your media player. The headphones will power off automatically when using AUX mode, as they do not require battery power.
Play
- Connect your device to the headphones via Bluetooth (refer to "Pair & Connect" section) or the included AUX cable.
- Open your music app, select a track, and press play.
- Control music playback, track selection, and volume using your smartphone or the on-ear controls on the headphones.
- All audio, including music, games, videos, and notifications, will be routed through the headphones.
Note: On-ear controls do not function when using the AUX connection.
Reconnect to Bluetooth
- Pairing is only required once per device.
- When the headphones are turned on and your previously paired device's Bluetooth is active and in range, they will automatically reconnect.
- If automatic reconnection fails, navigate to your device's Bluetooth settings, ensure Bluetooth is on, and select "MERKURY BTH09" from the list of paired devices.
