Getting Started

Charge It

Plug the micro USB cable into the micro USB port on the bottom of the headphone.
Connect the other end of the cable to a computer USB port or a USB-compatible car or wall charger.
The charging LED light will turn red while charging.
When charging is complete, the LED light will turn off.
Charging time is approximately 2-3 hours.

Note: A flashing red LED light on the bottom of the right earpad indicates a low battery.

Turn It On/Off

Press and hold the power button on the headphone's left earpad to turn the headphones on. The headphone will flash a blue LED light.
To turn the headphones off, press and hold the power button for 2-3 seconds. A red light will flash to indicate it is turning off.

Pair & Connect With a New Device

Press the power button for about 2-3 seconds to turn on the headset. The LED light at the bottom of the earpad will flash blue, indicating the headphones are ready to be paired.
On your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone, tablet, or media player, navigate to the Bluetooth settings menu, turn on Bluetooth, and search for new devices.
"MERKURY BTH09" should appear in the list. Select it.
The headphone will prompt a sound, and the Bluetooth LED will flash blue to confirm successful pairing.
If your device asks for a PIN code, enter 0000 or 1234.
For AUX connection: Connect one end of the included AUX cable to the headphone jack at the bottom of the headphone and the other end to your media player. The headphones will power off automatically when using AUX mode, as they do not require battery power.

Play

Connect your device to the headphones via Bluetooth (refer to "Pair & Connect" section) or the included AUX cable.
Open your music app, select a track, and press play.
Control music playback, track selection, and volume using your smartphone or the on-ear controls on the headphones.
All audio, including music, games, videos, and notifications, will be routed through the headphones.

Note: On-ear controls do not function when using the AUX connection.

Buttons & Functions

The headphones feature several controls for managing calls, music, and volume:

1 Answer/End Call: Located on the right earcup.
2 Power On/Off, Play/Pause Music: Press and hold to turn on/off; press to play/pause music. Located on the left earcup.
3 LED Indicator: Shows charging and pairing status. Located near the power button.
4 Microphone: For calls.
5 Micro USB Charging Port: For charging the headphones. Located on the bottom of the left earcup.
6 Adjustable Headband: Allows for a comfortable fit.
7 Volume/Track Controls: Press to increase/decrease volume. Press and hold to skip to the previous/next track. Located on the right earcup.
8 3.5mm AUX Input: For wired audio connection. Located on the bottom of the left earcup.

The headphones are designed to fold for travel.

Reconnect to Bluetooth

Pairing is only required once per device.
When the headphones are turned on and your previously paired device's Bluetooth is active and in range, they will automatically reconnect.
If automatic reconnection fails, navigate to your device's Bluetooth settings, ensure Bluetooth is on, and select "MERKURY BTH09" from the list of paired devices.

Troubleshooting

Issue	Solution
No power	Recharge headphones using the included micro USB cable. Ensure no AUX cable is plugged in, as this disables Bluetooth. Try a different micro USB cable.
Music is not playing over Bluetooth	Verify your Bluetooth device supports the A2DP profile. Confirm both devices are paired and connected via Bluetooth. Ensure no AUX cable is plugged in. Restart the headphones and reconnect your Bluetooth device. Forget the original connection on your device and re-pair.
Bluetooth device will not reconnect	Power the headphones off and then on again. If pairing fails within 3 minutes, refer to the "Pair & Connect With a New Device" section. Try connecting to a different Bluetooth device. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device. Forget the original connection on your device and re-pair.
