1. Push to remove the `knockouts' on the mounting plate that best relate to where your mains power cables/ceiling cavity is located.

2. Screw the mounting plate to your ceiling using the anchors provided.

3. Drop the bulb holder through the shade. Add the foam washer before threading the brass bulb holder sleeve over the top, clamping the pendant shade securely.

4. Tighten the brass sleeve fully so the foam washer compresses around any inconsistencies in glass thickness. You may benefit from slightly moving the bulb holder in the hole towards the thickest part of the glass to offset the centre of gravity.

5. Adjust the length of the lighting cable using the grub screw on the end of the cable.

6. Hook the adjusted cable through the ceiling rose cover and slide into the centre of the pre-mounted plate.

To remove the balance bar, remove the terminal box and cable anchor before unscrewing the bar.

7. Repeat step 4 if the cable length is unsatisfactory, then secure in place with the fastening bolt.

8. Make connections in the terminal box provided.

9. Thread the rose cover over the mounting plate.

10. Add bulb.
