Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 Competition: Terms and Conditions

Instructions

To enter the draw to win one (1) Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7, comment with the hashtag #GalaxyZFold7 and the colour of the device in the comment section of Samsung's official social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, or Samsung Members). Entrants may only enter once during the promotional period.

The promotion is open to New Zealand residents only, currently residing in New Zealand. The winner will be selected by Samsung in its sole discretion at 5pm NZST on Thursday, 18th July 2025.

Terms and Conditions

1. The instructions on how to enter form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into the promotion signifies acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. The Promotion opens at 6:45 AM NZST on Thursday, 10th July and closes at 5 PM NZST on Thursday, 18th July 2025 (the “Promotion Period”).
3. The “Promoter” or “Samsung” is Samsung Electronics New Zealand Limited, located at Level 3, 94 Apollo Drive, Rosedale, Auckland 0632.
4. The Promotion is open exclusively to New Zealand residents currently residing in New Zealand.
5. If the selected winner is under 16 years of age, the prize will be awarded to a parent or legal guardian of the winner, as determined by the Promoter.
6. This Promotion is not open to staff or employees of Samsung (including their immediate families), retailers of Samsung products, or their associated employees and agencies.
7. The Prize for the Promotion is one (1) Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7.
8. To enter the Promotion during the Promotion Period, entrants must:
   • Comment the hashtag #GalaxyZFold7 in the relevant comment section.
   • Entrants are permitted to enter the competition only once.
9. The winner will be selected at random by Samsung at its sole discretion at 5pm NZST on Thursday, 18th July 2025. The winner will be contacted via comment section or direct message on the social media platform used for entry.
10. If an ineligible entry is selected, or if the Promoter does not receive a response from the winner within seven (7) days of the direct message or email being sent (despite reasonable attempts), the Promoter may deem the entry invalid. In such cases, the Promoter reserves the right to conduct a redraw.
11. The Prize is not transferable, changeable, or redeemable for cash.
12. The Promoter and any associated entities are not responsible for any late, lost, misdirected, or incorrectly submitted entries, including those not received due to technical problems, social media privacy settings, or human error. The Promoter has no control over internet service providers, network lines, signals, or connectivity and accepts no responsibility for issues arising from this technology.
13. The Promoter reserves the right to disallow entries at its absolute discretion, including for breaches of these rules, without providing reasons.
14. The Promoter and its associated agencies or companies accept no responsibility for any tax or other additional costs incurred by a participant in connection with receiving any Prize or in relation to the Promotion itself.
15. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of claims and determine entrant eligibility at any time. The Promoter may disqualify any entry or refuse to award a prize if false or misleading details are provided, or if an entrant behaves fraudulently or dishonestly, or otherwise fails to comply with these terms and conditions or the spirit of the promotion.
16. By entering this Promotion, entrants consent to the use of their names, photographs, and likeness for promotional and advertising purposes. The Promoter will hold the copyright for these materials without any claim to compensation from the entrants.
17. Entrants agree to comply with all reasonable directions of the Promoter and will not do anything that could bring the Promoter or its products into disrepute.
18. If a winner cannot accept the Prize for any reason, the Prize will be void, and no compensation will be payable.
19. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
20. All decisions made by the Promoter are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
21. In the event the Promotion cannot operate as anticipated, the Promoter may amend, suspend, or cancel any aspect of the competition (including any prize) in its sole discretion.
22. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for: (i) any error, omission, interruption, or delay in the operation or transmission of communications (including email) due to problems with communication networks, lines, computer systems, software, internet service providers, or network congestion; (ii) theft, destruction, or unauthorized access to or alteration of communications; or (iii) any problem with, or technical malfunction of, any computer system or equipment used for the promotion.
23. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, directors, shareholders, employees, advisors, assignees, agents, licensees, representatives, advertising and promotional agencies) excludes all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special, or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion. This includes, but is not limited to, issues attributable to: (a) technical difficulties or equipment malfunction; (b) theft, unauthorized access, or third-party interference; (c) late, lost, altered, damaged, or misdirected entries or prize claims; (d) variations in the prize; (e) tax liability incurred by a claimant or entrant; or (f) use of a prize.
24. The Promoter collects and holds personal information provided by entrants for the purposes of this Promotion and for future promotional purposes, including contacting entrants with marketing information about Samsung products. The Promoter may disclose this information to third parties such as agents, contractors, service providers, offer suppliers, and as required, New Zealand regulatory authorities. All personal information provided by entrants will be held by the Promoter. Under the Privacy Act 2020, entrants have the right to access and correct their personal information by emailing privacy.nz@samsung.com.
25. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or any third parties. Any information provided by you is provided to the Promoter, not to Instagram.
26. The Promoter reserves the right to update the Terms and Conditions and/or extend, cancel, or amend this promotion at any time.
27. The Prize will be sent to the winner after Friday, 18th July 2025.
