1. Safety Precautions
- Ensure the product is used within the specified limits.
- Do not touch the terminals while power is supplied, as this may cause electric shock.
- Prevent metal pieces, wire clippings, or filings from entering the product to avoid electric shock, fire, or malfunction.
- Do not use the product in environments with flammable or explosive gases to prevent explosion hazards.
- Never disassemble, modify, or repair the product yourself. Internal parts should not be touched to avoid electric shock, fire, or malfunction.
- Be aware that output relays have a limited lifespan. Contact fusing or burning may occur if used beyond their life expectancy. Always consider application conditions and use relays within their rated load and electrical life expectancy. Relay lifespan varies with output load and switch conditions.

---|---|---|
orAL (orAL) | Input Sensor Selected Error | Input the correct value consistent with parameters of sensor. |
Signal Wire Connected Error | Correct the Connecting Signal Wire. | |
(orAL) | Sensor Fault | Check the sensor. |
6. Operating Instruction
- After power-on, the PV screen displays the current measured value and the SV screen displays the current set value, indicating normal status.
- If the PV/SV screen displays "orAL" alternately, it signifies that the input value is out of range (or sensor is open circuit) or the input setting is incorrect.
- When an alarm output is active, the SV screen displays characters related to the alarms: HiAL (Upper Alarm Limit), LoAL (Lower Alarm Limit), dHAL (Maximum Deviation Alarm), dLAL (Minimum Deviation Alarm).
- Checking Output Value: Press the [SET] key (no more than 1S). If the SV screen displays "A" (e.g., A100), the status is automatic control output. If the SV screen displays "M" (e.g., M100), the status is manual control output.
- Auto/Manual Switch: Press the [Left Arrow] key (no more than 1S) to switch between automatic and manual control status. In automatic control status, the RUN pilot lamp is off. In manual control status, the RUN pilot lamp is on. (Note: This function may be restricted if the setting function status is "2: No manual").
- Temperature Setting: When the SV screen displays the setting value, press the [Up Arrow] key or [Down Arrow] key to increase or decrease the setting value. Press the [Right Arrow] key to move the cursor to the digit to be updated. Holding down the [Up Arrow] or [Down Arrow] keys allows for rapid value adjustment.
- Start the Self-adjusting Function: For initial use, it is recommended to use the self-adjusting function to determine control parameters (M50, P, and T). This helps achieve ideal control. Keep pressing the [Left Arrow] key for more than 2 seconds. The SV screen will alternately display "AT" (Character: AT), indicating the instrument is in self-adjusting status. During this process, the instrument performs 2-5 oscillations to automatically determine PID control parameters (M50, P, and T). The instrument will return to PID automatic control status upon completion. To quit self-adjustment prematurely, press and hold the [Left Arrow] key for more than 2 seconds until the "AT" character disappears from the SV screen.
- Attention: To re-initiate self-adjustment after the first use, set the "CtrL" parameter to "2". Refer to "Parameter Setting and Defining" for more details. Control parameter values may vary with different setting temperatures; therefore, perform self-adjustment at the most common system setting temperature. If setting values change frequently, manual modulation might be necessary.
7. Parameter Setting and Defining
After power-on, press and hold the [SET] key for more than 2 seconds to enter setting mode. Use the [Up Arrow] or [Down Arrow] keys to set the value. After finishing, press the [SET] key to confirm and proceed to the next function setting. The PV/SV screen will return to normal display after setting.
Note: If modifications are made in setting mode, the instrument will automatically save the current value after more than 10 seconds of inactivity and return to normal status.

EP1 ~ EP8 | 8 User-defined Parameters | Select any Parameter from this Table | Except LOC and EP1~EP8 | none |
User-defined Parameter
In the process of setting parameters, the display modes of the last eight parameters differ from the previous ones. The PV screen displays the prompt EP1 - EP8. The SV screen displays various prompts of technical parameters (e.g., HiAL, LoAL, dHAL, and so on). Press the [Up Arrow] or [Down Arrow] key. The technical parameters in the SV screen will be listed in proper order as in the table above. After that, press the [SET] key to confirm and enter the next setting. "none" needs to be set if the user does not need to use the user-defined parameter. Press the [SET] key to set these 8 user-defined parameters until all are set, and then return to normal status.
Datalock (LOC)
When the setting values of LOC are not "2", "40", or "808", the instrument only allows setting 0-8 self-defined parameters and LOC parameters themselves. User can set all parameters only when the LOC value is "2", "40", or "808". Details are as follows:
- Loc=0: Temperature setting value and EP1-EP8 can be revamped.
- Loc=1: Data cannot be revamped, only can be checked (Except LOC parameters).
- Loc=2, 40, 808: All parameters can be revamped.
