Operating Instruction
Upon power-on, the PV screen displays the current measured value, and the SV screen displays the current set value. This is the normal status.
If the PV/SV screens display "orAL" alternately, it indicates the input value is out of range (or sensor is open circuit) or the input setting is incorrect.
When an alarm is active, the SV screen displays characters related to the alarms: HiAL (Upper Alarm Limit), LoAL (Lower Alarm Limit), dHAL (Maximum Deviation Alarm), dLAL (Minimum Deviation Alarm).
Checking Output Value: Press the [SET Key] (no more than 1S). If the SV screen displays "A" (e.g., A:100), the status is automatic control output. If the SV screen displays "M" (e.g., M:100), the status is manual control output.
Auto/Manual Switch: Press the [Shift Key] (no more than 1S) to switch between automatic and manual control modes. In automatic control status, the RUN pilot lamp is off. In manual control status, the RUN pilot lamp is on. (Note: This function may be disabled if the setting function is "2: No manual").
Temperature Setting: When the SV screen displays the setting value, press the [Up Key] or [Down Key] to increase or decrease the value. Press the [Move Key] to move the cursor to the digit to be updated. Press and hold the [Up Key] or [Down Key] for rapid value adjustment.
Start Self-Adjusting Function: For initial use, it is recommended to use the self-adjusting function to determine optimal control parameters (M50, P, and T). Press and hold the [Self-Adjustment Key] for more than 2 seconds. The SV screen will display "AT" alternately, indicating the instrument is in self-adjusting status. During this process, the instrument performs position adjustments (2-5 oscillations) and automatically determines PID control parameters. The instrument returns to automatic control status upon completion. To quit self-adjusting prematurely, press and hold the [Self-Adjustment Key] for more than 2 seconds until "AT" disappears from the SV screen.
Note on Self-Adjustment: To use the self-adjusting function again after the initial setup, set the "CtrL" parameter to "2". It is advisable to perform self-adjustment at the most common operating temperature for the system. If setting values change frequently, manual modulation may be necessary.
Parameter Setting and Defining
After power-on, press and hold the [SET Key] for more than 2 seconds to enter setting mode. Use the [Up Key] or [Down Key] to adjust values. Press [SET Key] to confirm and proceed to the next function. The PV/SV screen will return to normal display after setting.
Note: Any modifications made in setting mode will be automatically saved after 10 seconds of inactivity, and the instrument will return to normal status.

User-defined Parameter
When setting the last eight parameters (EP1-EP8), the PV screen prompts EP1-EP8, and the SV screen displays technical parameter settings. Use the [Up Key] or [Down Key] to cycle through parameters like HiAL, LoAL, dHAL. Press [SET Key] to confirm and enter the next setting. If a user-defined parameter is not needed, set it to "none". Press [SET Key] to set all 8 user-defined parameters, then return to normal status.
Datalock (LOC)
When the LOC setting is not "2", "40", or "808", the instrument allows modification of only 0-8 self-defined parameters and LOC parameters themselves. All parameters can be set when LOC is "2", "40", or "808".
- Loc=0: Temperature setting value and EP1-EP8 can be modified.
- Loc=1: Data can only be checked, not modified (except LOC parameters).
- Loc=2, 40, 808: All parameters can be modified.
