1. Overview
The DockLinQ is designed to upgrade 30-pin iPod/iPhone music docking stations with Bluetooth audio streaming. It offers high-quality sound and a long Bluetooth wireless range.

Battery Charging Indicator Light
- Blue blinking light: Waiting for Bluetooth connection
- Blue constant light: Bluetooth connected
Battery Charging Status
- Red constant light: Battery is charging
- Red light OFF: Battery is fully charged
Battery ON/OFF Switch
Slide the switch button to the right side (OFF position) to prevent battery charging. This is recommended for playing music to prolong battery life when DockLinQ is powered by the 30-pin connector.
Slide the switch button to the left side (ON position) to activate the battery. The battery will charge when DockLinQ is plugged into a 30-Pin docking station.
3.5 mm Aux-out Jack
Use the included aux cable to plug the DockLinQ's Aux-out jack into the Aux-in jack of your home or car stereo for music streaming. It can also be used to connect wired headphones/earphones.
2. FAST SETUP
- PLUG: Connect DockLinQ to the 30-pin connector.
- PAIR: Open your phone's Bluetooth settings, search for "DockLinQ", and tap to pair. A constant blue light indicates a successful connection.
- PLAY: Stream music from your phone to the docking station.
Compatibility Notes
DockLinQ is compatible with most Bose docks. If sound issues occur (no sound, low volume, poor quality), try adjusting DockLinQ's position for better contact with the 30-pin connector. If problems persist, contact support@invery.com.
DockLinQ is not compatible with some digital docks that use a USB channel, such as Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin. For these docks, use the 3.5mm Aux cable to connect DockLinQ's Aux-out jack to the dock's Aux-in jack for Bluetooth streaming.
3. Playing Music from a Docking Station via 3.5 mm Aux-in jack
Use a 3.5mm Aux cable to connect DockLinQ's Aux-out jack to the docking station's Aux-in jack.
4. Playing Music from Home or Car Stereo with a 3.5 mm Aux-in jack
Use a 3.5mm Aux cable to input audio. Use a 30-pin-to-USB cable to supply power for DockLinQ.
(Invery recommends its Airdual series for car use.)
5. Playing Music with Wired Earphone
Use a 3.5mm Aux cable to connect your wired earphones to DockLinQ, turning them into Bluetooth earphones.
6. Streaming Music from Multi Devices (Dual Link Function)
- Pair first mobile device: Search for "DockLinQ" in Bluetooth settings and pair.
- Turn off first mobile device Bluetooth.
- Pair second mobile device: Search for "DockLinQ" in Bluetooth settings and pair.
- Re-enable first mobile device Bluetooth: Tap to pair again.
7. Amazon Echo Dot works with DockLinQ
- Turn OFF the Bluetooth function on your iPhone, iPad, or other mobile device.
- Connect DockLinQ to a Bose SoundDock and slide the power button to the left to turn on the battery. Place DockLinQ near the Amazon Echo Dot. The blue light will blink.
- Open the Alexa App on your phone, tablet, or laptop. Tap the 3-line menu icon in the upper left corner.
- Tap "Settings" on the Home Menu.
- Tap "Echo Dot" under the Settings Menu.
