Before connecting devices, make sure that:
- You know your Wi-Fi network name and password.
- You are connecting to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network (5 GHz is not supported).
- Bluetooth on your phone is turned on.
Note: For faster device configuration, keep your mobile phone and devices close to the router during Wi-Fi setup.
Connecting the Base Station to the Network
- Connect the base station to a power source using the power adapter.
- In the app, tap "+", select "Base Station (SBS50)", and scan the QR code on the bottom of the base station.
- Name the base station, select or create a home, and choose the room where it's installed. If creating a new home, enter a name and select your country/region.
- Press and hold the Pair button on the base station for 5 seconds until the LED indicator flashes yellow rapidly, indicating it's ready to connect to Wi-Fi.
- Tap "Operation Confirmed" and then "Next". The app will search for nearby Bluetooth devices.
- Enter your Wi-Fi name and password, then tap "Next". You will hear “connecting to Wi-Fi.”
- Upon successful connection, you will hear “Wi-Fi connected”. The LED indicator will remain solid blue, and the base station will appear in the device list.
Connecting the Water Leak Sensor to the Base Station
The water leak sensor connects to the base station wirelessly. Once connected, you will receive push notifications on your smartphone regarding the device status and can silence alarms remotely.
Note: Ensure the base station is successfully added to the app before adding the sensor.
- In the app, tap "+", select "Water Leak Sensors", and then "SWSOA". Tap "Next" to enter the pairing page.

NOTE: If the water leak sensor fails to connect within 60 seconds, it will exit network configuration. Repeat the steps to re-enter.
- The power adapter plug is considered a disconnected device. The socket-outlet should be near the equipment and easily accessible.
- The charger must deliver 5 watts for optimal charging speed.
Testing the Device
After successfully adding the water leak sensor to the base station, test the device to ensure normal operation. Press the Test button on the device, or navigate to "Device Settings" in the app and tap "Device Test". The LED will flash red 3 times, and you will receive a push notification confirming proper function.
Installing Your Device
Installation Location
Place the device near common household water sources such as water pipes, basement sump pumps, dishwashers, washing machines, toilets, water heaters, and window wells.
Installation Method
The sensor can be placed on a flat surface. Do not place the device upright, as this may prevent alarms from triggering. Avoid uneven surfaces, which can cause false alarms.
Note:
- Do not place the device upright; otherwise, no alarm will be triggered.
- Do not place the device on uneven surfaces, as this may cause false alarms.
Water Leak Detection
The water leak sensor detects water leaks and floods. Upon detection, an immediate push notification is sent, the LED flashes red rapidly, and the base station sounds an alarm. Users can mute the base station or select "Remind Me Later" via the app. If water persists, the LED will continue flashing until the battery is depleted.
Note: You will receive an “Alarm Ended” push notification when the water leak stops.
Silencing the Device
Press the Silence button on the water leak sensor or base station, or tap "Silence" in the app to mute the base station. If water is no longer detected, an app push notification will be sent. If the device remains wet after silencing, alarms and notifications will not repeat. Once the sensor is dry, notifications will resume.
Unique Features
Remind Me Later
When triggered, "Remind Me Later" options will appear in the app, allowing you to silence the sensor and base station for a set period (10 minutes, 30 minutes, 2 hours, 6 hours, or 12 hours). If the sensor still detects water after the timer expires, alerts will be resent. You will also be notified if the water leak stops during this period. This feature can be disabled anytime.
Low Battery Mode
When the battery is low, the LED indicator flashes red every 60 seconds, and a low battery notification will be sent to your app.
Battery Replacement
When the battery is low (LED flashes red every 60 seconds), replace the batteries. Remove all screws, replace the two used AAA batteries with new ones, reinstall the screws, and test the device.
Note: After replacing batteries, align the positioning points of the upper and lower shells before screwing the device closed.
Maintenance
After the device has been triggered, shake it to remove collected water. Clean the top and bottom sensor probes with a dry cloth and paper towel. This ensures consistent performance.
WARNING:
- Operate the device between 32–122°F (0–50°C) and below 90% RH humidity.
- Do not forcibly disassemble the device, as it may cause damage.
