4 DTS Online Setting
Follow these steps to connect your DTS module to the internet and the Hoymiles monitoring platform:
- Download the App: Search for "Hoymiles" in the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android), or scan the QR code provided to download the Hoymiles Installer App.
- Log In: Open the Hoymiles Installer App and log in using your installer account credentials. If you are a new installer, please apply for an account from your distributor in advance.
- Connect to the DTS:
- On your smartphone or tablet, open the Hoymiles Installer App and log in. Navigate to the "O&M" section located at the bottom of the page, then tap on "Network Configuration".
- Select the DTS's wireless network (SSID). The network name typically consists of "DTS" followed by the product's serial number. Tap "Connect". The default password for the DTS Wi-Fi network is "ESS12345".
- You may receive a prompt on your device indicating it is not connected to the DTS Wi-Fi. Confirm the connection by tapping "OK".
- Configure Network Settings:
- After successfully connecting to the DTS Wi-Fi, return to the "Network Configuration" screen within the app.
- Select your home or office router's Wi-Fi network from the list and enter the correct Wi-Fi password.
- Tap the "Send to DTU" button to transfer the network configuration to the DTS module.
- Verify Connection: Check the indicator light on the DTS module. A solid blue light signifies a successful network connection. The network configuration process usually takes approximately one minute. If the DTS does not connect to the network, please verify your internet connection and router settings.
Once connected, the app will display a confirmation message, often showing network status as "Connection Succeeded" and providing details such as networking method, network quality, and server connection status.
