DM25LEU/S Motor: Installation and Safety Guide
This document provides essential information for the safe and effective installation and operation of the DM25LEU/S motor by Radio+.
Safety Notes
Read all safety instructions carefully before use. The mass and dimensions of the driven part must be compatible with the motor's rated torque and operating time. Important safety instructions must be followed for the safety of persons. Keep remote controls away from children. Regularly examine the installation for imbalance or signs of wear. Do not use if repairs or adjustments are necessary. Watch the moving shutter and keep people away until it is fully closed. Incorrect installation can lead to severe injury. Remove any unnecessary cords and disable equipment not needed for powered operation before installation.

Charging Instructions
This motor features a built-in Li-ion battery pack with integrated charge management. The maximum power input for recharging is 5V 2A. Before first use, charge the motor for 6 hours using a 5V charger. A blinking red light indicates a low battery alert, blinking green signifies charging in progress, and a solid green light means the battery is fully charged. A portable charger can be used for emergency usage.
Motor Installation
- Cut the drive tube to the required length.
- Ensure the tube edge is clean and burr-free.
- Mount the correct crown and drive adapter onto the motor, ensuring the drive adapter fits firmly and the crown rotates freely.
- Align the notches on the crown and drive adapter with the drive tube, slide the motor into the drive tube, and mount the idler and bracket on both ends.
Attention
Never drop, knock, drill, or submerge the motor. Keep the power cable in the correct position. Incorrect installation can lead to serious injury and will void the manufacturer's liability and warranty.
Caution
- Do not expose the motor to humid or extreme temperature conditions.
- Do not drill into the motor.
- Do not cut the antenna and keep it clear from metal objects.
- Do not allow children to play with this device.
- Do not use if the power cable or connector is damaged.
- Ensure the correct crown and drive adapter are used.
- Ensure the power cable and aerial are clear and protected from moving parts.
- Cables routed through walls shall be properly isolated.
- The motor is to be mounted in a horizontal position only.
- Before installation, remove unnecessary cords and disable any equipment not needed for powered operation.
- Installation and programming should be performed by a qualified professional. Use or modification outside the scope of this instruction may void the warranty.
