WE-001 Quick Start Guide

Safety Instructions

• Read, follow, and keep these instructions.
• Heed all warnings.
• Clean the unit only with a soft, dry cloth.
• Do not expose the unit to dripping or splashing.
• Do not subject the unit to extreme conditions (force, shock, dust, sand, humidity, cold, heat).
• Do not place or operate the unit near heat sources such as radiators, stoves, or other equipment that produces heat.
• Do not place naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, on the unit.
• Keep the unit away from interference sources such as fluorescent lights or electric motors.
• Caution: Danger of explosion if batteries are replaced incorrectly. The battery and all other parts of this unit are not user-serviceable.
• Caution: At full power, prolonged listening via headphones or earphones can damage the user's hearing. To prevent excessive sound levels, set the volume to a low level first, then increase it gradually until the sound can be heard comfortably and without distortion.
• Do not use headphones or earphones while driving a motorized vehicle or riding a bicycle. This is dangerous and also illegal in some states or countries.
• While using headphones or earphones, decrease the volume when you cross roads or need to pay attention to external sounds.

Charging the Battery

To charge the battery:

• Connect the device using the provided USB cable (labeled 1) to a power source (labeled 2) via a power adapter (labeled 3) plugged into a wall socket (labeled 4).
• Indicator Lights:
• While charging: The indicator light is red.
• Battery full: The indicator light turns off.

Power requirement: 5V/1.5A minimum.

Cassette Playback

To play a cassette:

1. Insert a pre-recorded cassette (labeled 4) into the device.
2. Connect headphones (labeled 1) to the headphone jack (labeled 2).
3. Press the Play button (labeled 3).
4. Adjust the volume using the Volume +/- controls.
5. Press the Stop button to stop playback.

Additional controls include Fast Forward and Rewind.

Cassette Recording

To record onto a cassette:

1. Connect your music source (labeled 1) to the device's input.
2. Insert a blank cassette (labeled 4) into the device.
3. Press the Record button (labeled 3).
4. Press the Recording Stop button to end the recording.

Connecting Wireless Headphones

To connect wireless headphones:

1. Switch off other nearby wireless receiving devices.
2. Place the wireless headphones (labeled 4) very close to the device (labeled 2).
3. Power on the device and put it into pairing mode.
4. Long press the pairing button until the blue indicator turns on.
5. The cassette sound will now be played through the wireless headphones.
