Zebra MP72 Series Multi-Plane Scanner/Scale

Redefine the checkout experience with unmatched speed and unrivaled innovation.

Overview

In today's retail environment, customers expect fast and seamless checkout experiences. The Zebra MP72 Series Multi-Plane Scanner/Scale is designed to meet these demands, offering premium scanning speeds and innovative features that enhance efficiency and reduce shrink. This bioptic scanner is an ideal solution for modernizing checkout lanes, providing low energy consumption, superior uptime, and easy integration with existing infrastructure.

The MP72 Series is future-ready with optimized 2D and Digital Link performance, ensuring compatibility with emerging barcode standards like GS1 Digital Link. Its advanced hardware and software deliver superior 2D scanning, preparing checkout lanes for the increasing prevalence of 2D barcodes.

Key Features and Benefits

Exceed Expectations with Faster-Than-Ever Checkouts

Leveraging Zebra's exclusive PRZM Intelligent Imaging technology, the MP72 Series provides unmatched scanning speed and simplicity for virtually any 1D, 2D, GS1, or Digimarc® barcode, whether on paper, mobile devices, or glossy packaging. Its offset illumination technology aids in scanning reflective barcodes on customer phones and packaging. With swipe speeds and fields of view up to 100% larger than comparable scanners, it makes scanning effortless for both experienced cashiers and first-time users.

Innovative Features for Higher ROI and Reduced Shrink

An optional HD color camera enables new vision-based applications, such as produce recognition for faster item selection and loss prevention applications to identify suspicious transactions. Livestreaming video at self-checkout can also help discourage fraud.

Accurate Weight Measurements

The L-shaped platter design maximizes the active weighing surface. Zebra's Weight Guard technology intelligently senses when an item is not fully on the surface, alerting the POS to prevent underweight readings.
