Now, it's time to assemble the pump lever. Start by pushing it through the holes at the base of the tank. Secure in place using the attachment clip provided. Once done, slide the lever handle onto the other end of the pump lever pole. There is also a rubber ring to help secure the lever into place.

-
The next step is to connect the connecting rod to the pump lever by sliding through the little hole as seen in the photo. Secure in place using a split pin and washer. Ensure that this is with the smaller end of the connecting rod. Make sure to fray the end.

-
The next step is to secure the other end of the connecting rod to the top of the pump. Firstly, insert the pump's lever holder into its position at the top of the pump. Whilst doing this, slide through the connecting rod so that it passes through the lever holder as well as the holes on top of the pump. These are secured using the second split pin. Use the photos to help.

Lastly, just place the filter into the filling point. This prevents anything other than liquid entering the tank.
Usage and Care
Make sure to follow the instructions on the packaging of the agricultural chemicals, disinfectants, cleaning agents etc. when pouring them into the Knapsack Sprayer as to avoid damaging the product and/or causing harm to yourself or those around you.
If you find one of the nozzles becomes blocked during use or doesn't spray in the nozzle's pattern, unscrew the nozzle tip and clean it under running water. Do not try to unblock the nozzle using an object as this may damage the nozzle, rendering it ineffective.
To operate the sprayer, unscrew the tank lid and fill it through the filter before screwing the lid back on. Attach the sprayer to your back using the straps and pump the pump lever to build the pressure in the air chamber before spraying. Once you've finished using the sprayer, remove both the lid and the filter and wash the tank with warm water.
