The S&P CHAT-N Series comprises direct-driven backward curved centrifugal cabinet fans engineered for smoke extraction in fire conditions, certified to F400-120 (CE marked). The fan casings are constructed from a robust galvanized frame combined with panels lined with 25 mm thickness of fireproof fibreglass acoustic insulation (M0). All models are equipped with F400-120 rated motors designed for continuous operation (S1) and emergency situations (S2). Depending on the model, these fans are available with three-phase motors in 4, 6, or 4/8 poles.

Direct-driven backward curved centrifugal impellers designed to prevent dirt or grease accumulation and dynamically balanced according to ISO 1940 standard.
Robust galvanized frame construction with fireproof acoustic insulation (M0).

Performance Curves

The following sections present performance curves for the CHAT-N series fans, detailing their operational characteristics. These curves are generated in accordance with ISO 5801.

Each set of curves includes:

Static Pressure (Psf) vs. Airflow (qv): Shows the fan's ability to overcome system resistance at various airflow rates for different frequencies (30Hz, 40Hz, 50Hz). Curves are numbered 1, 2, 3 corresponding to different motor configurations or speeds as indicated in the tables.
Input Power (P) vs. Airflow (qv): Illustrates the electrical power consumed by the motor at different airflow rates for the same frequencies.

Performance curves are provided for 4-pole motors (covering models CHAT/4-400 N to CHAT/4-710 N) and 6-pole motors (covering models CHAT/6-560 N to CHAT/6-800 N).

Acoustic Characteristics

This section details the sound power level spectrum in dB(A) for the CHAT-N series fans across various frequency bands (63 Hz to 8000 Hz). Data is provided for Inlet, Outlet, and Radiated sound levels for different models.
