Understanding Pairing Mode

Reactivating pairing mode

Pairing mode is required when setting up the light bulb from the Razer Gamer Room app. It activates when you turn on the light switch and deactivates after 5 minutes if the light bulb remains unpaired. To reactivate pairing mode, turn off and on the light switch.

Resetting to factory settings

Once connected, a reset is required to pair the light bulb to a new device. To reset, turn on and off the light switch four (4) times, with 1-second intervals, then turn it on again. The light bulb will briefly cycle through colors before turning white, indicating the reset and activation of pairing mode.

7. Configuring Your Razer Aether Light Bulb via Razer Synapse

8. Safety and Maintenance

Safety Guidelines

To achieve maximum safety while using the Razer Aether Light Bulb, Razer suggests adopting the following guidelines:

  • Should you have trouble operating the light bulb properly and troubleshooting does not work, uninstall and contact the Razer hotline or go to support.razer.com for support. Do not attempt to service or fix the light bulb yourself at any time.
  • Do not take apart the light bulb, and do not attempt to operate it under abnormal current loads. Doing so will void your warranty.
  • Don't use the light bulb with dimmer switches to avoid damaging it.
  • Turn off the light bulb using the light switch or in-app when not in use.
  • Keep the light bulb away from liquid, humidity, or moisture. Operate it within the specific temperature range of 0°C (32°F) to 40°C (104°F). Should the temperature exceed this range, uninstall the light bulb to let the temperature stabilize to an optimal level.

Maintenance and Use

The Razer Aether Light Bulb requires minimum maintenance to keep it in optimum condition. Once a month, it is recommended to turn off the light switch and clean it using a soft cloth to prevent dirt buildup. Do not use soap or harsh cleaning agents.
