Charging Case

The charging case includes:

Pairing

First-time use: Open the charging case to immediately enter Bluetooth pairing mode. The indicator light will flash orange and green.

Subsequent pairings:

  1. Place both earbuds in the charging case.
  2. Press and hold the button inside the charging case for 3 seconds until the indicator lights flash orange and green, indicating the earbuds have entered pairing mode.
  3. Enable Bluetooth on your device and select "OpenFit 2+ by Shokz". The device will indicate successful pairing upon completion.

Wearing

  1. Remove the earbuds from the case.
  2. Place the earbuds over your ears.
  3. Gently pivot the earbuds backward so the ear hooks wrap around your ears.
  4. You are now ready to use the earbuds.

*Operating steps may vary depending on software. Consider actual usage for precision.

Call Control

Volume Control

# Continuous Volume Control: While music or calls are active, press and hold the corresponding earbud until the desired volume is reached.

Single Earbud Control

The earbuds are designed for independent use, allowing music playback in mono or taking calls. When used individually, each earbud retains its respective button functionality. Refer to page 13 for music control and page 14 for call control.

*Note: When both earbuds are in the case, the indicator displays the power status of the earbud with the lowest battery level.

Power Source

Power On/Off/Standby

Power On: When the earbuds are placed in the charging case, opening the case activates the indicator light and turns on the earbuds.

*Note: Closing the charging case after removing the earbuds helps preserve battery life and prevents debris from entering the case.

Power Off: When the charging case is closed with both earbuds inside, they automatically turn off.

Standby: If the earbuds are out of the case and disconnected for 3 minutes, they enter standby mode to conserve battery.

Charging the Earbuds

Place the earbuds in the charging case until they magnetically attach. Close the charging case once the indicator light is on.

LED Indicators:

*Note: The charging case LED indicator shows the battery status of the earbuds. If both earbuds are in the case, the indicator shows the power status of the earbud with the lower battery level.

• The earbuds will reach full charge in approximately 60 minutes inside the charging case. Ensure the charging case has sufficient battery to charge the earbuds.

Charging the Charging Case

Connect the USB-C to USB-C charging cable to the charging case and plug it into a certified power adapter or wall charger. A solid orange light on the charging case indicates it is charging, while a solid green light indicates it is fully charged.

Wireless Charging of the Charging Case

The case is compatible with Qi-certified wireless charging. Follow these steps for correct charging:

  1. Configure the Charger: Connect your Qi-certified wireless charger to a power source and ensure it is functioning correctly.
  2. Position the Charging Case: Place the case centered on the wireless charger with the logo facing up, ensuring it is properly aligned with the charging contacts.
  3. Check the Indicator Light: The orange light will remain on during charging. When it turns solid green, the case is fully charged.

Additional Features

Multipoint Pairing

*Please update the Shokz app to the latest version from the App Store. Follow the instructions to update the earbud firmware to the latest version. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your pairing device.

  1. First, connect the earbuds to your phone and then select "Multipoint Pairing" in the Shokz app.
  2. On the contextual page, confirm to open the Multipoint Pairing function.
  3. Select "Connect to a second device" and follow the instructions to establish a connection with the second device.
  4. Your earbuds are now connected to two devices. You can easily manage your Bluetooth connections via the Shokz app.

Dolby Audio

  1. Enhanced Sound Quality: Dolby Audio enhances sound by producing crystal-clear audio, rich details, and an immersive surround sound experience for a captivating musical and entertainment journey. You can easily enable or disable Dolby Audio via the Shokz app.
  2. Configuration: Ensure your earbuds and mobile phone are connected, then open the Shokz app.
  3. Toggle to Activate: Activate the Dolby Audio button to enable or disable it.

Automatic Connection

  1. Once the earbuds are powered on, they will automatically attempt to connect to the last paired device and emit a beep to indicate a successful connection.
  2. During use, the earbuds may disconnect from the paired device due to connection range limitations. If they come back within range within 3 minutes, they will automatically re-establish the connection with the last paired device, emitting a sound to indicate successful reconnection.
  3. If the earbuds return to the connection range after 3 minutes, press one of the physical buttons to trigger automatic reconnection.
  4. With multipoint pairing enabled, simply press one of the physical buttons to reconnect to both devices.

Find My Shokz

  1. Ensure your earbuds are connected to your phone. Then, open the Shokz app and select "Find My Shokz".
  2. Select the earbuds you wish to locate from the displayed list.
  3. Select "Ring". Your earbuds will start emitting a loud sound to help you find them.

Reset

Resetting the earbuds will erase the list of paired devices and reset all parameters.

  1. Place both earbuds in the charging case.
  2. Press and hold the case button for 15 seconds. The indicator will flash orange (for 5 seconds) to confirm the reset. Then, the indicator will flash orange and green, indicating the earbuds have entered pairing mode.

Tested under controlled laboratory conditions, the earbud components of this product are resistant to dust, sweat, and water at an IP55 level in accordance with IEC 60529.

The product's serial number can be found on the barcode of the packaging and the warranty card. Additionally, the charging case has a serial number printed next to the charging port.
